One of the characters that always scares me. Mongor is a character that still terrifies me these days. Mongor fed precisely on fear and that made him grow bigger and bigger! They did not have to look him in the face, so Lion-o defeats him by turning his back on him, and aided by Omen's sword. one of the first chapters and one of the most disturbing. I don't know why but the same thing happened to many people.

Man, Mongor was my favorite villain outside of Mumm-ra and Pumm-ra. Awesome design. I love that the fire is removable from the scythe. Thanks for sharing man.

I haven't seen anybody mention this before. If you haven't noticed The blank Eyes on the screaming head Glow in the dark...I found that out by surprise.

This guy is my favourite Thundercats villain and my favourite figure from this line. He's also the character that I most wanted to see after the line was announced. Of course I wanted to see the core characters like everyone else did but beyond that, this is my guy. I'm glad he was chosen for wave 7. If it had been someone else then we'd still be waiting on this guy. Perhaps we'd still be waiting for him to be announced and that would be disappointing for me personally because he's an essential for me. To me, there would be a gaping hole in my Thundercats collection if he wasn't there. My favourite viilains from this show were not even regulars. Grune is my second favourite after Mongor. As much as I like Mumm-Ra and the mutants, they were specialists in failure. Mumm-Ra makes a massive impact when you first see him but the repeated failures dilute that over time and he starts to seem like a clown after a while, even the ancient spirits thought so. I think that's why they temporarily fired him after 'The Last Day'. I also didn't like how 'The Demolisher' got the better of him so easily. He was literally outdone by a silly mutt from outer space. However, you can't deny that Mumm-Ra is very toyetic, just like this guy. I think Mongor is also a fun figure for people who don't know him because he has such a great design and sinister look to him. His giant scythe is also one of the best weapons that a villain could have. Then you have his size which makes him look very imposing. I think you do get a bit more of the value with this one.. As much as I like Ratar-O, that figure feels cheap in comparison to this one, even though he's quite large too. This figure is very well done, which is something that I had anticipated.

4:58 I see the heads as the opposite. Not saying the heads look super realistic, just saying they took a whole lot of creative liberties with making them not look like their cartoon counterpart. Very glad they didn't go full-on accuracy with the heads, 'cause their toon design (at least face-wise) isn't all that cool.

Good figure, I think a vintage inspired head would have been a good inclusion. Also the plastic, especially on his head and back is sharp! Handle this figure with care!😣
