That makes sense now. They lost Mark Tinkley as their pattern maker so thats probably why they're doing the Moments Theme to reuse old designs and patterns so they dont have to create a new one for the time being. Hmmmmmmm.

I like this Poppy. I might have to get her and sell my other black haired one. I started buying IT dolls in 2013 but not often enough to warrant a club membership. Personally I don't love the basics line in concept. It sounds good on paper but is it really any cheaper or easier for the public to acquire IT dolls this way than it was before the basics? In my experience, no. They feel overpriced for just a doll in a swimsuit, and the ones I wanted most like Agnes and Gus still sold out immediately.

I always enjoy your videos! I agree with your points about the color variation dolls. I am a long time IT collector, and I definitely don't want reiterations of the same doll. I join the club to buy new innovative dolls, not dolls already like the ones I have.

I think the new basic dolls are AWESOME 😍 And I think you received a very even colored Erin (Seeing the horrible mismatches Erin head/bodies all over the social media) I am still waiting for mine, so I am crossing fingers that mine is like yours. Love this Natalia, and the other basic dolls look great. I think the meteor doll really looks better on hand. I have seen pics of her and she doesn’t look as crossed eyed as the promo pics. About Erin and her accessory pack.. It was genius. Probably it isn’t look this way now, because it was a repeated fashion… But if they keep it this way, You can have a complete doll split in a basic format and an accessory/complimentary pack. So IT can “please” multiple voices or collector wishes.. Like having more basic (priced) dolls, having accessories of fashion dolls.. BTW Have to say I didn’t like this fashion when it was on Lilith, due to its coloring and styling, but here is a showstopper. The colors, accessories and styling are amazing. It really gives a different vibe.. And BOTH shoes are great. The Basic East 59 doll is really gorgeous, I never liked the previous basic screening, but this one looks more like New York Bound Victoire Roux that I just adore. 🥰 The swimsuit is very cool. BTW I have to say that I liked the Basic Meteor Swimsuit also. A lot. About Malibu Agnes, yes. Full stop. 😍 Basic Agnes is the most awesome Basic doll ever (Erin is a close contender but will see when she is here)... And I didn't consider myself an Agnes fan. I think this Agnes (like so few Agnes) has a very soft and mysterious allure in her screening.. She usually comes very harsh/ill-tempered in some screenings and in others she just looks mean (to me, personally). But this screening (Up with a Twist and Fresh Perspective) looks very soft and approachable to me.. It was so sad to read about Mark leaving IT. 😢I will miss his enthusiastic and passionate attitude during the IT videos; and I can see why -probably (feeling a little conspirative here)- we are having a "Moment" collection, with repeated fashions.. And talking about Mark, have to say YES, The True mini collection was a highlight of this year.. And not only because of the designs and styling are so playful/urban and the textile combinations are amazing; but because It kinda feels like a Dynamite come back.. one of my favorite lines of all times. I am so glad you won a ticket for the Curated Even Luncheon!! Feeling sad for you Sing❤. But hopefully it will be amazing. I Really, REALLY will be very sad if they offer a 24K Erin or Metamorphosis recoloring in there tho. About the public portion of the Event.. I don't know how to feel about it. I know it could be frustrating for all the members and all time convention attendees to see that small number split with a public release. But probably IT is testing out something there... and I will wait and see what is that about. This podcast really looks really a produced video and it feels great!! Amazing work as always. 👏 I am so glad my comment was featured in the video! Thank you guys, it makes me so happy!!🤩It feels like a highlight of a very hectic week. Thank you!

I was genuinely flabbergast at them keeping public tickets for this when usually it's member priority - it's written into the perks of membership - and initially thought they came from simply having left over ones this time. I think that is going to make people very upset and I could see why. With the new basics they're coming at an awful time for me but I really do like Erin, can appreciate Natalia and will probably end up with Poppy if budget can allow for it.

It was a pretty shocking decision. And for so few tickets…? I don’t get it. From what I’ve seen in both Instagram and Facebook, some people are pretty upset for sure. The new basics are cute! I’ve appreciated a lot of the basic dolls and hope there are more good ones to come. This Poppy and Erin in particular are hard to resist!

I'm a new IT collector. Joined the W Club in 2022 and now 2023. When 2023 upgrades were revealed, I was even a little bummed. But, overall was grateful to have the opportunity to add these variants to my collection (ended up only ordering Poppy. The lemon yellow and the darker skintone is very pretty together). PS - I also won the Curated lottery. 100% wasn't expecting to win, so I was shocked and excited when I got the email. Looking forward to saying "hi" and meeting other IT collectors!

Hey guys. Love your review. I got me an Erin, but need to wait to see if she's not mismatched. I want a second for reroot and repaint. I was also bummed mark left, but I don't agree they should get a woman just for the sake of having a woman. If they choose another designer, I hope they give it to someone as skilled asmark was regardless of gender. Someone skilled and who deserves it. Not someone who checks all their boxes. If it ends up being a woman, that is cool. I like dagamort, she does great work. Anyway,enjoyed your video, keep up the great work.

With the upgrade dolls, many collectors couldn't get Alejandra at time and the ones who did they paid double - triple the retail price so having her as an upgrade doll was a great opportunity for us who didn't get the first one
