Great video, very rare to see such a detailed tear down and repurpose/restore components video, I’m inspired to tackle mine, although in the car!

Interesting! I’ve appreciated cerakoting on weapons so this is helpful.

That Ceracote looks amazing. Are you also going to Cerakote the Pistons with Pistoncoat and the Microslick? I think its a nice way to protect the Engine and maybe even squeeze a bit more Horsepower. I will work with a lot of Cerakote when I rebuild my 3B in the future.

The 12ht in the 60 has Cerakoted pistons, and helps shed heat nicely. I’m not planning on tearing this 12ht down as far as it had good compression and ran nicely when it was pulled. I will however do the exhaust and turbo to help shed the heat. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it! Good luck can’t wait to follow your build

@@musiccitycruisers3863 Yeah but one bottle goes a long way. I never thought I would plan something like this but I think the rebuild of the original 3B from my BJ42 excites me the most, although it will happen in a few Years when the Truck is restored.
