The lift I drive has a lithium battery and plugs in to the charger like an electric car. More forklift companies need to adopt this technology, no need to add water, lifting the engine cover, or unplugging the cables to charge. The charge port is behind a flap that lifts up, plug in to charge, unplug when done. From a drivers perspective it very simple and safer too.
