@@kimbuck-2 I would love to convince you to do it! But I'll tell you what I think. I didn't sleep the night I brought it home, because of how excited I was. (I still am) It's better in every way, except ground clearance. I don't off-road, so that's not a big deal. I'm blown away by the fit and finish on this thing. There IS, a Lexus difference, I promise you that! I know, they are both made in Japan at the Tahara factory, but this thing is "overbuilt", compared to the 4Runner. I'm a Toyota fan boy, but as of now, I'm not sure I'll own anything but a Lexus from here on out. I'm 52 btw. You will have "no regerts"! lol :)

@@kimbuck-2 It depends on the vision of your mods. If you are going for a 3" lift and 285s, yes. There are pros and cons. Some don't like "cutting" on their truck; especially a new one. But, with bigger tires and wheel spacers come swing arm mods, suspension, etc to accompany the weight and space. I thought long on this viper cut. It really looks good with beefier tires. At times (when I got stuff in the back) it does look a little lower. Sometimes the back looks a tab bit higher than the front. But, It's level all around.

​@@ThatRed4Runner i had to put a leveling kit on my 15 sr5. It changed the handling dramatically for the better. What do you think about the new 2025s. You gonna get a new one?

@@KLartrandM Mine still handles great. No steering wheel shakes, etc. The 2025s are not for me at this time. I don't like that they went to a 4cyl with turbo. Alot of us old timers will stick with the 6cyl. The new 4Runner will need to prove itself.

But part of me wants to wait til 26. After the bugs are worked out. I trust toyota knows what they're doing with the 4 cylinder turbos

@@KLartrandM Yes, the 6cyl has gotten more popular an demand higher everywhere. Most people want to wait, to see if they're any bugs in the '25. Starting price for the TRD is $50k. I'm gonna keep my 2018 for awhile. I'm watching to see if this new '25 will be a success. I'm sure it will do ok. We will see!
