Toyota C-HR GR Sport (Gazoo Racing SUV) | Drive & Review!

This review was definitely the most reflective of my own experience when I test drove this car. I was tempted by the Yaris Cross but the extra leg room in the rear of this along with a quieter smoother ride tipped me in favour of the C-HR. I pick up a 6 month old model next Monday the same colour as the one you reviewed. My eyes were instantly drawn to it in the showroom as it looks stunning. I did test drive a 6 month old excel version as well. While I liked the leather seats in that, strangely I found the drive slightly different with the GR version feeling more responsive. Probably just in my head after seeing the GR badge. Both cars were lovely drives though and the 1.8 engine has more than enough poke for me which is good as the boot on the 2.0 is slightly smaller and I needed a car that could swallow 2 folded wheelchairs. This one has ticked all my boxes. Thank you for this wonderful review as it really helped me with my decision making.

I absolutely love my CHR dynamic Hybrid i've had over 20 cars since i was seventeen and now in my sixties this car is the best car i have ever had it ticks every box for me ,Thank you sooo much Toyota.

Had mine over 2 years 10,000 miles and still drives great, great fuel economy, still giving me 47-55 in town on a long run from Yorkshire to Heathrow Airport & return with a full board, let's just say i filled the tank the night before and came back with just under half a tank 😮 I remember being a little concerned with the fuel gauge and mentioned this to my passengers, you can imagine their attitude after 14 hours of flight's 😂😂😂😂😂.....anyway more to the point the chr is a dam good car and definitely gets a 👍from me, oh just a side note, I'm heavy footed 😅😅

I get my CHR GR SPORT this Friday, after taking it for a test drive and watching this review i agree with you 100% on all the comments you have made with regard to this car, and yes it is a brilliantly smooth drive and soooo comfy, keep up the good reviews ! ........and i'm over 60 so reliability and comfort are a must these days !

As a result of a test drive a couple of days ago, not even thinking about buying, we watched your video and we’ve gone all the way and bought the 2lt GR sport in flare red? It’s just an awesome car and so looking forward to collecting it on Friday afternoon. Steven Egell Toyota is our dealer in Ipswich Suffolk and I can’t believe their attentiveness and a fantastic deal that I couldn’t believe initially. We collected ours in Nebula blue, 3 weeks ago, just got back from 2 weeks in Cornwall, got to say it's an absolute lovely car to drive, it now has just over a thousand miles, it's the 1.8 and it's great on fuel, the car it replaced was a Grandland X, this is a much nicer car.

I have had an icon tech 1.8 for 4 years, it's the best company car I have ever had. I have to trade it in, company policy but good news for me. I found a 1.8 GA Sport on the first day of looking, figures worked so my company bought it, I get it 24.05.22 your classification of who drives these cars? I'm 60 this year, how about older drivers who know what a good car should feel like? 5 days and counting until I go from base model to GR Sport, can't wait

Good sensible review. My wife had the 1.2 petrol ⛽️ she got one with full leather and loved it! Now she has an fn2 😮 She misses her chr For the kids 10/6 the rear room and visibility in the chr is terrible

Great review, indeed one of the best I’ve seen (and I’ve watched a few)! Order lead times have reduced significantly I understand: I ordered a 2.0 Excel in November (2022) and I’m due to take delivery in February. Might be longer for in demand variants like the GR; I opted for luxury over sporty badges😂

Just ordered the 1.8 GR Sport and been told it will be ready 28th April so not that long. It seems to depend on model and also colour as I would have had to wait another 6 weeks for the gun metal gray one

My wife ordered the chr gr 2 litre hybrid four months ago in cyprus with a full extras pack . It arrived a week ago from Japan to the Toyota dealership minus full leather which it now has to have those fitted .. very odd .. plus front and rear cameras which won’t be fitted until July . Any one else had this problem?
