The ECVT in Toyota hybrids are nothing like a normal CVT ..no belt or pulleys it' only uses two electric motor/generators and planetary gears in the transaxle.

That is true, though just as noisy and you can't work on it easily at a transmission shop

I have the Camry SL 2020 I4 I hate that it dose not have heated seats and wish it came with JBL audio system. Engine dose not have enough power if you want more kick make sure to go for the V6.

Yeah those inclusions are off that they're not there. Btw, I've used the JBL system a few times - really nothing special my friend, you're not missing out on much 😉

Would like to know, does Camry comes with Electric folding side mirror? If yes, is it only on SL or every version has it?

Thanks for the review. I am still waiting for my Camry SL 2020 which will arrive in June from Japan. I ordered mine in Feverish red. I was wondering the car you reviewed is in Feverish red? Reason i am asking is because it looks so bright compared to the one i saw at the dealership which was a bit darker. Thanks. Hope to hear from you soon.

I have driven a few other cars and it was a bit stiff and ruined your driving experience. 2. Did i make the right choice in purchasing a camry when there were other Japanese cars like Mazda 6 that i could have purchased? Thanks heaps

Great review. However I do wish you guys would talk more about cost associated with running vehicles. For example if not mistaken the Camry required premium. So how does that compare to a vehicle that runs on E10 or the Commodore diesel ?

This Camry does require 95 or better, but it also takes e10

This is my dream car that is affordable! I will probably get the blue accent sport. I can start to learn to drive at the end of next year when I turn 16. My dream luxury car is probably the tesla.

The fake rear air vents make me think the side protector strips are hanging down. That didn't stop me buying one, but I ordered lunar blue so it doesn't stand out as much. I see in America, the XSE and XSL don't have the fake rear vents. You keep talking about the 'stigma'. That makes me think you care more about what other people think (about you and the car). That will cause more stress to you.

So we do get the JBL speakers on all other Camrys, and usually they are standard on top trims - but not this Camry!

I'm looking to buy a RED 2020 Camry SL but the Toyota dealers, and the Toyota website, only shows Feverish Red which seems to be the duller red and NOT the bright red like the one in the clip?? Can someone please explain, as I'd really like to have the BRIGHT RED and not the darker one.

Same red 😊 pops in the light! Similar (though not as good) to the Mazda red!

I own a 2019 camry sport non hybrid. Toyota needs to recall these camrys because the auto headlights have a mind of there own and the high beams are pathetic! No option to turn them off and they automatically turn on when you don’t want them on! The cheap interior plastics scratch so easily and the carpet and boot liner is cheap n nasty! I found the non hybrid non cvt variant better to drive.

He said the downside of the cvt transmission is the noise and vibration it makes when you floor the accelerator. Solution, don't floor the accelerator 😂😂😂😂
