Toyota Camry 2022 Dynamic Force Engine, Dancing With Wolves on Genting Hill Climb /YS Khong Driving

What a great combination - The New 2022 Toyota Camry, now with the much acclaimed 40 percent thermal efficiency 2.5 liter engine, 209 PS, 253 Nm of torque, coupled with an 8-speed auto transmission, three driving modes including a Sports Mode, and Paddle Shifters too.
Not what you would expect in an 'uncle car'. Yes, the Toyota Camry has finally come of age, and this is possibly the best Camry I have ever seen, and now it is certainly the best Camry I have taken up the mountain.
Now with the fact the the continental cars are getting so expensive, the Camry, priced at RM199k offers a pretty good bang per buck.
Notwithstanding the great performance specs, the interior is more premium and is slanted towards the 'towkay' types.
Of course the Camry would not be a car you would buy as a 'weekend' car to go mountain climbing, but if you do take it out with your friends, you won't be left behind by very much - the TNGA platform with the trailing arm wishbones at the rear , and the 18-inch tyres provides excellent driving dynamics, while remaining super-composed throughout the journey.
Anyway, you all know why we still take this car, and many others that are not normally known to be performance cars on to this route - it is because this is one of the best ways to shake down the car and find weak spots, if any.
Besides that, it is also much fun, hahaha.

Wow, the road becomes so rough now. Those that say shaking can mute the video, much smoother, i think there are noise coming from the camera mounting or some loose items. I have to check my video speed twice to confirm I didnt put the video speed at 1.25. Mind you when Uncle overtook the mustang, he is doing 150-160, wet road somemore. So this camry is really something for uncle to have such confident. Great work as always, uncle YS!

Suspension set up is same, and ride is good. The road has gotten a bit rougher after the landslide damage, and a lot of heavy machinery went on it. The car is really good, take it from me. Or perhaps I need new equipment.

I set these at 230 kpa all round. I think these are the standard pressures. Yes, I make it a point to check before I set out, just in case. You don't want a blowout due to too low a pressure. Also, if there is a difference in pressures, especually for wheels on the same axle, handling would be affected.

Trying to find the correct orientation or position of the paddleshifters. Ended up shifting from the gear lever. Noted that column paddle shifters would be more suitable for spirited driving.
