Nice upgrade the invidia N1! sounds awesome. I got myself an Ulter cat back exhaust for my 2001 1.8 GT. not as loud as the N1 but nice and deep, and no droning inside the car. (still got to send you some pics of my car with and without the roof wrapped)

i had an 01 gt, the stock gt muffler doesnt have the muffler part at the end. i had put an ansa silverline on it which i cant even find anymore. ansa is still a thing but for diesel vehicles. that was 4 vehicles ago. now i have a 2012 sonic hatch 1.8 in victory red which i like.

As I have found out, it is not the Yamaha head, I got a full 2.5" straight pipe with just some generic resonator it anything above 4k rpm (You can very clearly hear the VVT change) and it sounds like a Honda and I mean, LIEK A HONDA. LOL, looking to get a muffler soon to change the tone

Drone it’s get loud annoying at times, even with the windows up. You’ll get use to it. Play music and you’ll hardly hear it. Any more Qs!!

@@ScholeyProductions I have a Celica myself with a TRD exhaust, however it's a GT. Quick question do you notice the exhaust changes when bouncing off redline depending on how cold or hot the engine is? When the engine is on the colder side my exhaust pops off the limiter (vid on my channel for reference) but it doesn't pop in the same way when the engine is hot. Maybe it's my exhaust or all celicas do that lmk thanks

@@fordgalaxiefanclub7733 I’m not overly sure to be honest, the 2ZZ has a factory rev limiter much lower than the actual redline when the engine is cold, and I give my Celica lots of time to warm up because of the high redline on the 2ZZ. That being said, when I do bang off the rev limiter it’s just an aggressive limiter, no real pops though, I’m sorry I’m not much help!

My current Celica I paid 4.5k CAD for in 2020, and has currently 211k miles/338k kilometres on it, for reference. I would like to think a reasonable price range should be between 3k-6k CAD depending on your budget and condition you’re looking for. I also have a video on my channel breaking down the costs of my current car after a few months of ownership!

My existing hardware worked, however I did buy longer bolts just in case (didn’t need them). I bought and fitted a new exhaust gasket and that was it. The hangers all came off the old exhaust, really easy install!

I daily drive my celica with this setup, however if your ears aren’t good with loud noise for extended periods of time, I would recommend the TRD exhaust or Apexi exhaust 👌🏻
