86 Corolla is One of the best TOYOTA ever made. I mean one can install a bigger engine and good wheels and it will easily gives you 200km/hr+ with stability. It has the ability to gives you "SPORTS CAR PLEASURE" I own Two 86 Corollas with 1.8 & 1.3 engines and both are still Running perfectly.

I have 86 and 85. 85 is my favorite with 1300 cc engine this car has a great stability i have reached more than full speedometer almost 190 of speed.

What a beauty, my all time favorite. Thanks for this review. A few things are not clear though, a GL had tachometer, this one doesn't, GL was 5-speed, this one is. I also saw the power steering pump, the headrests were also large, so this might be the UK variant. The original GL of 1986 from Japan had tape deck & few had sunroof also. That was the real deal.

It must be Corolla 1985 rather than 1986 which has indicators above break lights at back. Famous off course was Corolla of 1986 not prior to that models.
