Toyota Corolla AE86 Bodyshell restoration. Episode 1

In this episode, i start the restoration of AE86 Corolla bodyshell.
First job is to sandblast some of the areas before fixing, to get rid of most of the rust. Front shock absorber/strut tower bottom, is very common area to rust in old Corollas. In this shell, only one of the panels were rusted through, rest of them were able to restore by sandblasting and etch primer.

Hyvä että kelpaa! Joo kaiku on hirveä... Tuo on Wurthin rost stoppia, kai senkin läpi vois hitsata, mutta syttyy mukavemmin kun putsaa hieman, eikä pois palaessaan tee niin paljon nokea :)

@@Villageidiotsworkshop Its good to see how a spot welded chassis can be methodically picked apart and rust patched. Also good to seed what rust is lurking behind the seams. Other auto body and paint videos don't show restoration work... only cut and paste crash repairs. Thanks again.
