Toyota Corolla Cross (Japanese: トヨタ・カローラクロス, Hepburn: Toyota Karōra Kurosu) is a C-segment compact crossover SUV produced by Toyota since 2020. The crossover provides a more spacious and practical alternative to the Toyota C-HR. Built on the new TNGA platform, the corolla cross provides a new look to the pakistani market whilst offering an excellent fuel economy of around 20km/l in city.

Elsewhere Toyota is selling CROSS with a 2.0L engine. However, we Pakistanis are going to drive it with an obsolete 1.8L engine. Smaller ugly rims compared to competitors. General tires. Infotainment system without Apple / Android car play. I would rather choose Haval. More spacious. More features. Value for money.

A person spending 10 million on a car will be more concerned about features, comfort and seating capacity than fuel economy. Moreover you're not actually saving anything as you're paying the price (approx 2 million) in advance for a hybrid version. Hybrid has no benefit until or unless its price is comparable to a non'hybrid version. I am going to buy a Tucson after thorough market analysis.

Don’t buy hybrid it’s same you must drive 200,000 km to get any benefit because you are paying 1 million extra. Buy fuel for 1 million instead 😂

It's a terrible choice for 1 crore Mr Ashad. 1. It has a obsolete NiMH battery not Lithium Ion 2. It is very slow for a hybrid, total power is below par for Crore Rupees. 3. Rear Seats are cramped, Sportage Tuscon larger, Oshan Tiggo much much bigger, quicker, larger screens inside 4. Parts are expensive not cheap. 5. Chinese hybrid technology in GWM, BYD, Li Auto Range extenders are more advanced CATL, BYD two largest battery makers

NiMH battery is good for hybrids as it is not a performance hybrid car.And this battery makes the vehicle to lie in economical sector pricing.As well as this battery is not too much smaller as it consists of 128 cells in it for better enjoyful synergy drive .

I respect your opinion brother - not denying what you've said. My reasoning behind calling it the best value for money despite all the flaws you've stated is because of the market we operate in. In the current scenario where a civic costs the same, corolla cross offers a much better mileage and experience for practical purposes. As far as Chinese brands are concerned, not against them - just feel they need some more time to prove their worth. Anything that you expect to appreciate in value (regardless of how good or bad it is) is good value for money, sadly, for the market we operate in. Hope that addresses your concerns.

I'm sorry you feel that way brother but my opinions and reviews are as unbiased as humanly possible. I am definitely not a lover of one brand nor do I get lifaafas from them to speak highly about their cars. Chinese brands offer amazing features at a great price as well. However, I feel we should not be hasty and let these brands build themselves / prove their worth and sustainability in the market. End of the day, everyone is entitled to their opinions and I respect them! 🙏
