The Toyota Fortuner, also known as the Toyota SW4, is a mid-size SUV manufactured by the Japanese automaker Toyota since 2004. The second generation Fortuner was unveiled simultaneously on 16 July 2015 in Australia and Thailand. The facelifted Fortuner was launched in India in January 2021, which is offered in both standard and Legender grades. The Toyota Fortuner Legender is offered with one
engine option; a 2.8-litre diesel engine producing 201bhp and 500Nm of torque, paired to a six-speed automatic transmission unit. It can be had in two variants - 4x2 and 4x4 option.
The Toyota Fortuner Legender features a sleeker split grille, new LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, sequential turn indicators mounted on the lower front bumper, tweaked front and rear bumpers, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and revised LED tail lights.
The Toyota Fortuner Legender gets black dials for the instrument cluster, a rear USB charging port, a wireless smartphone charging, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, and a hands-free tail-gate opening. Other features which are carried over from the standard Fortuner include an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, a cooled glove-box, drive modes, electrically adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, ventilated front seats, puddle lamps, and an engine start-stop button. The model receives safety features in the form of seven airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a seat-belt reminder system, and speed alert system, VSC with brake assist, traction control, and a park assist function.
The Toyota Fortuner Legender comes only one colour option, which is the; White Pearl Crystal Shine with Black roof
