Cost cutting is just because of the heavy taxes by the government, GST on hybrid and ICE almost same, our politicians don't want us to get any comfort while their families move around in Mercedes, BMW followed by several police vehicles all at taxpayers money. There's not end to goverment greed. It's just matter of the time Toyota might also exit due to unfair tax regime, India will remain market for maruti, Hyundai , Kia and then luxury vehicles like BMW and Mercedes. even FAME subsidy is stopped on EV 😢

Totally outdated tech and looks, diesel engines are not the future. Plus carnival is too much of a hassle to manage in the city.

Kia carnival in its current shape and form is an outdated vehicle. Maybe big on size , but at least a decade behind in Technology. Plus Toyota reliability cannot be beaten by anyone, let alone the Korean brand. If one is living in Delhi NCR, The carnival cannot be kept here for more than 10 years. The value for money equation goes out of the window.
