How do you test if the alternator is failing?

Remove the positive cable while its running. if it dies, its the alt. Also check with a volt meter off the battery terminals. If it's running below 13-14, the alternator is not charging correctly

Where can you get your original rebuilt? I bought a reman from Toyota, but the OEM one if original (and I think it is went 360000 miles! I might kep and rebuild, but can't find anyone who does it in Colorado
