@ of course I watched it. Are you trying to figure out which of these vehicles to buy? If so , then this video was helpful. If not, like the rest of us, then the comparison is unusual. Almost as unusual as comparing a mini van to the Land Cruiser. Better to evaluate and measure a vehicle against the purpose for which it was designed, and whether it met that standard, instead of comparing vehicles with different goals.

The lack of the 3rd row in America is not because of the hybrid battery because in New Zealand and in Australia the Landcruiser Prado is only available with the 3rd row in a 2.8 Diesel and also a mild hybrid with the battery in the back..

David please do a piece on how engineers and designers interact and how decisions are made (forced?) into the final product. How do decisions like the back seat of the Tacoma and the cargo area of the Sequoia make it to production when they are such obvious failures.

David, I know the LC/GX was released kinda late in the year, but when can we expect to hear about MY 25 changes for the GX? I think toyota already announced some info for the LC, but its crickets on the GX. Car and Driver today said to expect memory seats/steering column/mirrors to become standard across all the trims and the Overtrail to receive a 1"lift . Any info on your side? I'm close to buying a MY24 Overtrail, but would hold on for those changes. Thanks for the great content.

What do the fuel efficiency numbers mean for Grand Highlander..? I think those are the mpg numbers compared to l/100km on the Landcruiser

Landcruiser of course! However, the price is the major set back for majority of people out there. No way I will take the Warehouse looking large Van Highlander, over a handsome Muscular looking Landcruiser.
