Costs more than an Ev to purchase. Fueling is about 80 bucks for the price of the tank as its about 40kwh to produce one kg. Add to it that you can't refuel at home even if you could make your own since, the thing needs a pressyrized hydrogen source that is a bomb level of source. For a bev you have battery and engine. The engine weighs the same as this vehicles while not requiring the tubing and pressure vessels and fuel stack. While batteries have a low energy to weight, hydrogen essentially does once you factor in the containers. All for hydrogen to be produced via electricity. Most people who drive an Ev can get away with charging at home with only a 256 outlet. Never having to use a station. 120V can give you 1.4Kw while 220 can get you to 7kw. Most Ev will get you around 5km per kWh. So a 120v charging overnight will get you 50km of range while a 220, so something you dryer runs on, will get almost 300. Realistically you're not driving that much. If you drive 50km per day a year you do 20k a year and can never have to see a fill station. All with a simple 120V outlet. Let that sink in.

what about safety issues in a case of an accident with a conventional or electric vehicle? H2 is highly dangerous and flammable. It is considered to be so dangerous that in order to open H2 supply to a machine on a factory we need to follow a special procedure and wait for a specifically trained person for this.
