TOYOTA PICKUP POWER WINDOW CONVERSION!

In this video i show you guys how to convert your 89-95 Toyota Pickup Manual windows to Power windows! I had done it years ago but today I made a NICE wiring harness and show YOU how to make your own! :)
THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
OFF THE 90-95 TOYOTA 4RUNNER YOU WILL NEED REAR ARMRESTS/WINDOW SWITCHES W/PIGTAILS
FRONT DOOR WINDOW MOTORS
OPTIONAL REAR TAILGATE WINDOW SWITCH (SO THAT YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR PASSENGER WINDOW ON YOUR DRIVER SIDE)
Sound deadening material for doors!

Great work, I did total opposite. I grab all my power windows, power locks from a donor 4runner and just swapped everything over including the harness

This is awesome. Cause of your vids I finally found out how to connect the wires from the motor to the switch. Do I need a relay for it to work or maybe the switches are not working? I got these switches wiring harness and door handles out of 93 4runner and it appears weathered out. I’ll test it. Thanks

I made the panels using diamond stitch fabric from joann’s fabrics and the top trim is just carbon fiber vinyl wrap dude!

Why not make less wires with a 4 way relay? The window switch used from the rear 4runner is in neutral position when not in use. 87a is for canceling out an accessory that is used in the same circuit turning one off and the other one on. Its extra wiring I think is not necessary.

I’m gonna be doing this but using universal switches because I had already used a universal kit but didn’t like the potential unreliability (maybe I’ll make a harness) but… how do I get the same carbon fiber look on the radio bezel? Is it just a wrap or should I skin it?

it’s a wrap but because of the sharp edges and curves i’d recommend hydro dipping it!

What year 4Runner handles are those? My pickup handles are juuuuunk. The vinyl is cracked and I keep slicing my fingernail beds when I grab them. Not fun. I will hit the junk yard asap when you let me know.

Couldn’t you just run power off key to each switch then to motor ? Is all the relays needed?

One switch position and circuit drive the motor one way to wind the window up; the other switch position and circuit wind the window down

Thanks for the info I’m about to put power in mine this weekend Check rock auto for the new motor I got a good deal on motor and regulator and bought some switches off Amazon. We will see how it goes.
