Great video I have done the same as I am in my 20’s have gone from a tent straight to to a hybrid caravan as I have 2 kids and it was a lot easier to have to set up with kids

Thanks for the vid👍. Got a 79 dual cab just a farm truck but lifted and super HD suspension that can carry/tow anything with no rear sag. Incredibly I see so many 4x4’s towing massive caravans worth a bomb, the vehicles worth a bomb yet factory suspension??? Asses sagging, front up in the air and dangerous AF!!!!!!!!!!!! Spend the coin on correct suspension and be safe people😉🙂

I run bone stock 225/75R16 with BFG KO2 when getting a balance and allignment they ask me what psi I run on road, 50 is what I run, nobody has said that is too high, curious to know if you or anyone does.

Depends on your suspencion and how you use you rig. My preassures change depending on my weights when i am on my max gvm 3.8t i run 50psi, un loaded 2.2t i run 35 psi. It is Purely baced in my comfort. if my ute was a little smoother id run 50psi all the time for the fuel savings

The roof rating is not 150kg it is only 80kg see page 283 of owner's manual

Prado 150 … 80K’s on a GXL and above. 100K’s on a GX that is using the three mounts. I understand if you remove the roof bars and use the 3 mounting points you up it to 100k’s. Then buy a rack that is rated the same off road as well as on road and you have a full 100k’s to play with. Minus of course the weight of the rack itself.

A big lorry combied with a trailer rather than an artic lorry and trailer and then has 2 or more trailers behind it. Most road trains have a meteic shit tonne of trailers behind them by the looks of things.

yeah, Tracklander rack itself is 150kg on or off road, ... but 100kg for the three connection points each side for the Prado roof limit (80kg for two connection points each side) pretty sure this is correct but happy to be corrected
