Love those Magic Erasers! I use them all over the house and on smudge marks on interior upholstery and side panels too. Just don’t put too much elbow grease into it or you’ll mar the surface instead of just removing grime. Loving the tee shirt.😀

Good tip, I've had this problem on my Tacoma for quite awhile now. Haven't looked closely enough to see that it was some sort of mold. Thought it was just deteriorating from years of Arkansas summer. Definitely going to try this.

Never thought to try a magic eraser. I have tried the tub of towel and a little gasoline on a old sock which both work but not as well as I would like. Next projects on my taco a throttle body clean and mass air flow clean.

You can also find the generic "magic erasers" at Asian goods stores, like Daiso. I thin I've seen them at Harbor Freight and different "dollar" stores, too.

ill give this a try. also for the pollen, a good leaf blower will nuke most of it off in less than a minute, or you can also hose it off and then use the leaf blower again on the water beads before they dry and attract even more pollen.

I'll try it. I get mildew on the trim piece down the lower doors too. The piece that runs from the front to the back and also on the clear protective plastic pieces they've strategically placed. Hate it. It does not wash off.

What about aero cosmetics, Rubber Care for tires, can you use this on your rubber trim. Would this be better?

That stuff will give the trim a nice shine for awhile but probably won't remove the mold/mildew discoloration spots.

Tried that stuff yesterday and didn't work. I'll do the eraser today then go back over it with the plastic/rubber cleaner

@@Tacomaholic no thank you. If you didn't show me so many modifications I would have never done them. I never knew about that air conditioning drain line leaking onto the frame.... fixed it. That modification brought me to the truck bed where they have those small drain holes drilled into the plastic floor. Well I also installed drain lines from those holes past the frame so no more water from those holes leaking onto the frame. Maybe a little over kill but it gives me piece of mind. Keep as much water off the frame as possible I say. I cleaned the mass air flow and throttle body. It didn't really need it but did it anyway. That small air filter on that secondary air intake, wow I would of never known...fixed it. Undercoating done ✅. You go way beyond what I need but I watch each episode with interest and say well maybe. I have bought some items from Amazon as per your recommendation. I will probably drain and fill the transmission fluid soon even though it only has 38,000 miles. Heck why not it seems easy enough. Nothing to good for my 2015 Tacoma double cab,extended bed , V6 4x4. So thank you sir.

speaking of windows, any chance you will do a video on how to fix the constant wind noise on these second gens? I copied what another youtuber suggested today, and it was a disaster. The foam was too thick, doors wouldn't shut very easily, and while the whistling itself was gone, you could hear constant wind noise on the doors, even at a stop. I'll trust whatever you suggest over anyone else on youtube. Thanks!

Have noticed on the last few videos showing your truck that you are not displaying a front license plate which is required in Virginia, have you been pulled over by the police yet?

I haven't run a front license plate since I got my truck brand new in 2014. Never been pulled over for it but I don't give police a reason to pull me over when I drive around.
