When you switch to crawl control mode, and you're still stuck i recommend turning the steering wheel left and right really quick and when you do that it will get off the sand or whatever trouble you're at really easy.

It does. Atrac will do the same. Keep her in 4 low and with the CDL on and she'll dig out just fine as long as you don't pin the throttle. My GX470 does the same.

top speed of the crawl feature is 5mph so its not going anywhere too fast

What direction was it going to go, except in reverse? lol The direction it was already going. In CC the speed can be set so low it is slower than walking speed. However, I personally would not have left the door closed. ;) I have done the bury it up to the frame in my TRD Off Road 4Runner. Walks right out every time. Incredible beasts.

@@andyk6112 You're missing how the system works. It does not LOCK the wheels. They were not all spinning together. The computer is alternating power from 1 to another to another.. etc. Sensing where grip was lost, finding another wheel to try and etc etc. ;)

I would imagine you would get stuck going forward so all the sand is built up behind the tires, so that sand would get pulled under the tire in reverse to get unstuck. Just my theory

Why don't you engage this before you get stuck?? Or does it only work in reverse? I could drive through that with my 2 wheel drive GMC with no problem!!! All this is is traction control by computer applying brakes to the slipping wheel which then transfers power/torque to non moving wheel. Why don't you just go around? If this doesn't work going forward it is worthless!! 9 out 10 I need to go some place in front of me, not back to where I was. Ok feature, not that great.😐🤔
