Toyota Touch 2 - How to update your maps and software

In this video we would like to explain how you can update your maps and software for Toyota Touch2 with Go and Toyota Touch2 with Go Plus. In order to use any Toyota Touch2 service, you must first register on the Toyota Customer Portal and then enter the account details on your Toyota Touch 2 with Go.
Toyota Touch 2 with Go platform is linked to the Toyota Customer Portal. On the Toyota Customer Portal you can also find the additional services you can benefit from when activating the connected services.
With the connected services you are able to connect your Toyota Touch2 with Go navigation to the internet to retrieve relevant online information. The connection to the internet is established by pairing your phone (which needs to have a data plan) to your navigation unit using either bluetooth or wifi.
One thing to keep in mind is that for the Connected Services to work, you first need to register an account on the customer portal (my.toyota.eu). Registration should take less than a minute and with your phone connected, you are ready to go.
Next to the connected services you can also download and install following apps, which run on your navigation unit. Increasing ease of use and safety in the car
Parking, tells you where the parkings are, how much they charge and if there's still availability
Weather, look at the weather forecast for your current location, your destination or any other place you are interested in. The forecast gives a prediction for up to 5 days.
Fuel, find the cheapest fuel in your vicinity, filter on brand and fuel type.
Glass of Water, which tells you how eco friendly your driving style is, try not to spill too much water by avoiding fast accelerations or sudden braking
Twitter, let you friends know what you are seeing, experiencing or thinking straight from your car!!

So expensive and convoluted just to update maps. You can buy a TomTom or Garmin for the price of these map updates and it comes with free updates for the lifetime of the device. Luckily the previous owner updated mine only 6 months ago. I'll probably keep it a couple of years and then replace it with a good android based unit.

I bought car from toyota dealer with weather/bing/movies/pandora/iHeart Radio ets.. from Melbourne Au to NSW Au. parked My car everything worked fine . Next morning all Disappeared. SaHAME ON TOYOTA. I been to three dealers no one knows nothing about there own product and it's PRIUS V i-Tech 2014 with jbl premium audio unit. Looks like Toyota wanta you to buy the new maps and they through few apps with that... shame everything is free available lates too. But toyota charges for Old Outdated Maps and Apps too... "THAT LOW YOU COULD GO, OoOH Toyota".. Shame one you all. From A manufacturer to sales and service. No one knows there own product.. Even Fujitsu who made the Audio Unit From GREAT CAR MANUFACTURER.

K sc I have the same problem Toyota wants me to pay £90 to just diagnose the problem even though I have extended warranty of my car but they say it’s not covered.Toyota engineers are useless .
