Avanza syempre. Veloz has too much “future tech” bells and whistles, may mga nag justify pa na “pupunta tayo sa future-kung gusto mong manirahan sa bundok blah blah” 😂😂😂 let me remind them, a car’s main function is to drive from point A to point B. Hindi yang mga infotainment na yan, or it will greet you “welcome” sa digital dashboard, and ano ba pakinabang ng ambient lighting. 😂 All these “future tech” will cost a minimum of Php200,000 to repair. Samsung and iPhone nga masira in 4-5years time, yang “future tech” pa kaya. 😂 Toyota itself is built to last-save for these future techs. And what happens if ipapa upgrade ng Toyota ang software nyan in 5 years time, and the hardware can’t take it. 😅😂😂😂

To add to this comparison For Veloz E: -may abang for roof rack -auto hold break -electric park break -adjustable driver seat height -wireless charging -premium interior (white accents, leather and fabric seats) -better tech and digital cluster gauge -ambient lights -Disc break front and rear -Drive modes (Eco, Normal, Power) -automatic climate control Avanza G: -Manual park break (prefer ng iba) -Blind spot monitoring -Disc break front, drum break rear

Simple and praktikal wise. Avanza G would be Enough. For me i Still prefer the manual Jand brake of Avanza vs Veloz E brake..

Hi Ronnie and fellow Veloz owners, appreciate if you can answer, may parang whitsling sound din ba yng Veloz mo when accelerating and decelerating? Parang tunog e-bike or golf cart? Sabi ni Toyota normal lang pero sobrang annoying nung sound. Thanks in advance.

I don't know why these companies are pushing Push Button Start as if were a new innovation? Push Button Start has been around at least 71 yrs. My parents bought a new Ford Mercury in 1953 that had Push Button Start.

I'm pretty sure that some cars from the 1930s also had push start. They had a key of course, which you inserted in the ignition lock, but to start the car, you pushed a button. Another thing cars from the 1930s had was a preselector gearbox. Not an automatic transmission, but a semi-manual. Almost like a DCT, but you had to do the shifting. People also forget that many of the earliest cars were electric. Range anxiety to the max!

@@gaufrid1956 - In the 1930's most starters were on the floor next to the gas pedal. It was kind of a button that you pushed with your foot to start the car. It had a return spring so that the starter would be ready to push again if necessary. They had a 6 volt system unlike todays cars with a 12 Volt system. Yes there were a few Electric Cars in the very early part of the 1900's, but they were impractical since their batteries were nothing like the batteries in today's Tesla. Studebaker and Baker were 2 examples of companies that produced early electric cars. By about 1910 most electric cars were out of production. I don't know what you mean by "preselector gearbox". In the early 1950's Chrysler Co. did market a car with "Fluid Drive". It was a partial automatic transmission that you had to use the clutch to shift into 1st gear but you could shift into 2nd and 3rd gears without using a clutch.

I've seen some British cars from the thirties online, with preselector gearboxes. The way they worked was you start in first gear (and remember back then there was no synchromesh on the gears), and when wanting to shift to a higher gear, you shifted a lever on the steering wheel, lifted your foot off the throttle, and the gearbox would shift to the higher ratio as you depressed the throttle again, avoiding the need to double declutch as in other gearboxes at the time. It's interesting that some cars these days have "Auto Gear Shift", which will shift through the gears by itself, but is best driven with you selecting each gear as required.
