I had a vitz 2008/2013. Four cylinder 1300. Absolutely fun car. None of the issues stated in the video. Average at 120 speed was over 15 with AC. Local atleast 12 to 14 depending on driving style. As for 3 cylinder models they are not good for oulur roads and climate. Thing is if engine is smaller beyond a certain point on a given car the consumption starts detoriating instead of improving.

Sunil bhai I've had 3 vitz. And still driving one on daily basis. One 2nd generation and 2 3rd generations. My fuel average has never gone down below 12 in city with A.C. And minimum of 15-16 on highways.

I own a 2012 Vitz 1.0 registered in 2016. I have driven it to 60000 kms. I live in a smaller city with frequent starts and stops, and have a larger family to move around. But still I am getting an average of 12km/l in summer and 14km/l in winter in city driving conditions. On highway trips with passengers and luggage, I am getting an average of 15km/l in summer and up to 17km/l in winter. I agree with most of the other comments about this vehicle in this video.

After driving both 1.0L and 1.3L vitz variants. I concluded vitz 1.3L is the best car in this segment. 1.0L variant lacks power and is noisy. Another common problem with vitz is the choking of CAT which contributes to power drop and bad fuel avg. CAT choking is more common in 1kr 1.0L engine. 2Nz or 1NR engines are not only 4 cylinder engines but are more durable than 1kr 3 cylinder engine.

I miss an arm rest in vitz. I had 1.3 2nd Gen 2006 registered 2011 sold it in 2018. In 7 years I never saw the red heat light. So this reliable this car really is. It gave me an average of 9-10km when I sold it. An avid vitz fan would always want a 1.3 over the 1.0.

1000cc Vitz will always vibrate that's why i bought 1300cc ILL. Its silent on acceleration, smooth, no vibration and excellent fuel economy of 14 km/l in city and in long 18 to 22km/l

Engine 1300cc less vibrations than 1000cc engine because the crank balance divided ( 360 degrees) divided by the number of cylinders , on case 1300cc 4 cylinder & 1000cc 3 cylinder. You more cylinder in the engine the crank balance improve

Bhai gari ki condition pe or driving habits be depend karta hai. Maine 2012 model vitz same colour 2016 k starting month mai li thi. 1 saal tak muje meri vitz ne with AC 13km/l ki average di or without AC 15 to 16 ki. 2018 k Shuru mai is ki average 9 km/l with AC ho gai thi toh Maine plugs change karwaye and cat converter saaf karwaya ab ye with AC 12 ki and without AC 14 ki average de rahi hai or ye car mai quetta, karachi, lahore or islamabaad har jaga chala chuka hoon. Worst experience quetta mai retha hai kyun k rush ziada hai or road chotay to average with AC 10 daiti hai wahan or without AC 12 to 13.

I have the same in basic model. I am getting 13-14 km/l with AC within city. On long drives it gives 16-17. This guys car does not have stock rims/tyres and may need electronic calibration, cat con cleaning etc, to improve mileage. Yes, it is the best car in its class except for noisy engine.

In my opinion this car is not build for agressive driving like corolla. Requires care. Parts are not cheap. below 50,000 engine is smooth like new then reaching to 100000 needs mainteanance intervals. For people who care about car can keep it. but donot expect mechanics to understand it quickly sometimes days pass on to understand real issue. I think corolla saloon automatic is best option.

Groud clearance wali bat per mujhay itraz hay q k is gari mein 2 adults beth jayein to 2.5 to 3 inch ka distance hota hay ground say. Mere ek dost ne li thi or ground clearance ki wajah se hi bhech di thi usnay. Dosri bat ye k as per my research ABS k 7 braking performance k achay honay na honay ka koi talluq nahi hota q k ABS normal conditions mein engage hi nahi hota, it only engages when you brake suddenly and its only purpose is to allow you to steer and brake at the same time taa k gadi slide na karay.

As regards to change gear oil. It is recommended that only Toyota CVT gear oil may be used.

he is correct about average of this generation. Mine barely gives 11 km/l (with a/c, within city) with super light foot, and i have already done every thing possible to improve its average. Vitz giving 14-15 km/l is a myth.

Vibration in engine is only with 1000cc. I have 1300 CC vitz 2nd genertion with minimum sound of engine without any vibration of engine, while 1300 cc give average fuel economy of 12 km/litre with AC in city and 15 km/l on highway with AC.

@@saadullah5498 it is pre face-lift. Bought in July 2016( G10 Islamabad markaz ) with 28000 on ODO meter. Kept away from pakistani mechanics so far . Just changing engine oil and filter ( genuine) at Toyota motors. No engine noise, no vibration . Fuel is hi octane, all the time.
