Yes, you are right. But, unfortunately most of us don't like the mess of cables and then...even less can use the feature as intended....

but should have driven the car for comprehensive review. is this car hybrid? plus does it have cvt transmission?

Well, yes-could have recorded my impression of drive. No, it's a non hybrid version but she cums with a battery pack as well with engine swelling up to 1.5lit 3 cylinder. However, IMHO 1000cc non hybrid is ok. And yes it has CVT gear and it has elastic effect but the launch is very good - Nice pickup.

Swift or this car. What do you recommend?

I guess I would choose Swift GLX over it. Reasons 1. Parts availability 2. 4 Cylinder Engine 3. More power 4. Better Looks 5. Better Instrument cluster. .... JDM Yaris good points 1. Better built quality 2. Better initial pickup 3. Softer drive ( soft suspension ) 4. Toyota branding .... If we compare top of line version of Yaris Then, it's a win win. Both of the cars are equally good ( Swift wins a few points and Yaris excels in few) ... So, if you can spend 48 to 52 Lacs on Top of line JDM Yaris - I would recommend buying Pakistani Yaris instead . But, if you are restricted to 45 Lacs . I guess Swift is the way to go.
