Pull up a comparison of the LE XLE and the SE. if you don’t need heated seats and power seats don’t care that the back end doesn’t pop open without you popping it open, which is not hard , can save you six to $8000.Get the LE😁🤙🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

I appreciate this video. I'm planning to upgrade from a base model chevy trax and even though this version of the Rav 4 isn't "fancy", it's still alot cooler than what I currently have 😂
@John-ct9zsАй бұрын
Same. My old car is 10 years old, but this base RAV4 is still a lot cooler, especially the AWD version. The only thing it doesn't have that my car from 2014 had was power seats, I can't believe my 2014 Honda had adjustable power seats but this base 2024 Toyota RAV4 still has the manual old school 80s and 90s seat adjuster. Small inconvenience, everything else is a huge upgrade. My 2014 car also had a camera on the passenger side that showed me my blind spot, this was a feature I loved that I have never seen on any car since, even current Hondas. But Toyota has the safety lane warning. I used to always get a trim or two higher, but with prices the way they are, base models are fine, and these days base models come with everything your vehicle from 10 or 15 years ago didn't have (except power seats! urgggh!).
@JerrTheHoomanАй бұрын
@John-ct9zs I appreciate the heads up but that won't bother me much. My current car also has manual seat adjustment 🤣

I just got the base 2024 Toyota RAV4 LE AWD. I thought about the Hybrid since it's the future, but it costs so much and it's not standard yet like the 2025 Camry. Since my previous car was a 10 year old Honda, this was a big upgrade for me. The 2024 RAV4 may not be luxury, but it's modern enough for me, with a touch of old school throwback. I do miss the power adjustable seats my 2014 Honda had as well as passenger camera, the base 2024 RAV4 has manual adjustable seats straight from 1989, LOL. Small nitpick I can live with. Toyota comes with safety lane warning, but I did love checking on who was on my passenger side with that camera. I'm fine going back to a physical key instead of the keyless entry and push button start that my 2014 Honda had, again I like most of the old school touches like the physical key and the bulky knobs, there are still enough modern 2020s technology in this vehicle to win me over. Toyota's reliability is a huge plus for me. It used to be that middle class people could buy a trim or two higher than the base car, but with the prices the way they are, it's like you have to carry some upper middle class or upper class wealth on you now to go for higher trims. This is the first base model I've ever owned since I was old enough to buy a car in the late 90s, but I guess since it's the AWD it's technically an upgraded base. I know gas engines are being phased out, but even the Hybrids still need gas, so I expect gas engines and gas stations to still be around for at least 10-20 years, enough for me to get plenty out of this RAV4.
@KLCII8821 күн бұрын
It has all the tech you NEED but maybe not all you want. I just replaced my 2012 Hyundai Accent so the pump is no biggy as it had the same. I wanted a car with the least amount of things that will break 10-15 years from now as I’m hoping to get 250k miles from this bad boy.

I understand the need for a CD player back in the 80s, 90s, 2000s, even the 2010s....I was amazed by my older sister's 1996 Camry for having a CD player, but in the 2020s is it really needed? No Electronic buttons or features that are buried with in the menus is what I want to see. Direct access to the features I want to control. You are not supposed to use a cell phone when driving. Why are these Touch screen, menus and sub menus allowed? This is forcing drivers to take there eyes off the road and not pay attention to what is going on around you.

All of these features gone on the base trim is like something I’d only see on a Nissan Versa.
