There is a good reason to buy SR5 over something like TRD Offroad. 1) High cargo carry capacity 2) Easy 4WD selector (my wife cannot / hate to use TRD 4wd selector) 3) Available 3rd row seating. Even 4) No moonroof, I really like no moonroof if it was an option for me.

Weird. I just bought a brand new 2024 Sr5 but it has the side mirror blinkers. Normal Sr5 seats though. It’s a 3 row, 4WD. Jeff what trim model do I have?

That's you, there are people like me that want the turn signals on the mirrors and no moonroof (which are dumb and stupid, something else to worry about) I don't want 3rd row seating and a sliding out tray, heated mirrors and back window MANDITORY.

Great review. I'm considering buying an SR5 premium. I love Toyota, but i'm unfamiliar with 4Runners so maybe someone can answer this question. Does the 4Runner have a power liftgate? I didn't think it was possible in 2024 that a full size suv doesn't have this. But the only videos i'm finding are for after market mods for this.

2018 sr5 premium still running like a charm here. Can be hot in the vegas summer but easier to clean the leather when it gets super dusty out here. Cant own one without the sunroof either. On high windy days I have the roof open and the rear window open

I feel like in reality, the trim models vary bit. I just purchased an SR5 Premium with leather and more bells than I can "ding" and more whistles than (I can ask a friend to) blow.... No heated seats (that I can find) and no mirror blinkers. I also have the stock cargo pull-out "shelf" (it's awesome) and others. I got is used, so maybe it hadd add-ons, I dunno.

Quit bitching about the price. It is what it is. Covid fucked a lot of stuff up with supply chains then employment issues. Just get over it and realize your $ doesn’t go as far as it used to. All vehicles are “overpriced”. Especially if they are in demand like most Toyotas. You cant compare apples to oranges. Yes, a high quality suv from toyota will cost more off the lot. NO domestic comparison will go the distance and last. Think 13-15 years from now when you have 450-500km amd your still going strongm no major issues. Never let you down. Anyone who buys donestic will be at the end of their 2nd vehicles life by the time this toyota is done. You will have spent far more at the end of those years in comparison. There IS A REASON they cost more. They are better!!!!
