Utterly love the couple of Trapjaws that knock He-Man over then look like they just amble merrily away. French Trapjaw's face is the best. He looks so enthusiastic, when his mouth is open. Very reminiscent of how Crow T. Robot "smiles".

For me, the most impressive thing is that the glued-on piece doesn´t break off while he is sliding down the string. And the hook looks just like the original. Great tutorial!

Looks like you had fun setting up the Trap-Jaw vs. He-Man and Battle Cat showdown. The real question is: What happened to Trap-Jaw that turned him into the mechanized monster he has become? Was it an accident? Did Skeletor do this to him? What's Trap-Jaw's _motivation?_

I live in New York City. I just bought a vintage Trap Jaw for one dollar from this guy selling all sorts of junk just sprawled out on the sidewalk. Not even a blanket or a piece of cardboard underneath it. Trap Jaw was lying there amongst dirty old Barbie dolls and used flatware. He is missing his left arm and he’s got some paint scuffs but oddly enough the loop on his head is perfectly intact 😅 ➰

I love that '80s advert, because He-Man simply talks himself out of a fight with Trap Jaw. TJ: "Halt or face the evil hook of Trap Jaw." HM: "That hook won't stop He-Man!" TJ: "Then Trap Jaw will use his vicious claw." HM: "Still no contest!" TJ: "Then Trap Jaw will use his wicked laser." HM: "Even a one-arm army can't stop He-Man and Battle Cat." TJ: "You win this time, He-Man." XD

The action scene in the garden looks very convincing. Almost unvisible wire. Wow. I don’t see any kids playing outside with their toys. Maybe they sit inside infront of their PlayStations and xboxes and other digital devices. In the 1970s we were playing outside with big Jim and Lego. But nowadays… keep up the good work.

I have a pair of 3d printers (one resin and one that just uses the filament) and both of them mainly have been used to make MotU weapons, including replacement weapons for Trap Jaw. I buy shabby figures, and often will just give them a printed sword or axe to make them feel more complete, even if it's just a random weapon, instead of what they came with.

Great repair as always TP! I'm a big fan of plastic weld! I have had occasions with particular plastics where I haven't succeeded with it though... It's mainly a cross discipline question I'm asking, because a lot of your fixes inspire me in other areas :) I've tried it on broken fridge parts labelled the same as Tamiya hard bodies which did work beautifully, but failed in that instance? -also on Caravan belly lockers where it did last 6 months! Have had some advice about a chemical that plumbers use now for welding pipes for pressure work. Sorry for the ramble Dave!, just interested in your experiences with plastic weld/chemical fixes etc - and any of your subscriber's experiences? All the best to a great channel! :)
@toypolloi2 жыл бұрын
It does all depend on the plastic. You will see me use plumbers weld in a video I have coming up. That stuff works on different plastics. For me it's trial and error as toys are made of so many different types of plastic.
