Great show Ken! I’m unlikely to build this exact model in the near future but that’s really not the point anyway. What’s interesting and valuable to me is to watch your approach to model building and problem solving. Those lessons have much much broader applications. I’m really looking forward to this series and am pleased your wife chose a challenging build. Thank you Ken. Please keep ‘em coming.

Been woodworker for going on 50 years. Both professional and as hobby. Used some amazing tools and done some challenging projects. But every video I watch you teach me a new trick to put into my arsenal. This project is exciting. I have so many toys and joy plans that I keep saying “when I retire in a few years I’m going to build this one”. And yes I will get to them. Your videos on toy builds keep me pumped up and buying more plans and tools. Great job!!

I'm glad to see that I am able to inspire a woodworker with your years experience Dan. It just goes to show that no matter how much experience you have, you can always learn something new as long as you are willing to learn it. I am inspired by my viewers and their projects every day. Thanks for tuning in and for the kind words.

Whether one builds models or not, watching the processes you use can give one the idea where you can adapt them on other projects. I'm going to enjoy watching the machine take shape. Take care!
@acutabove_woodworkings2 жыл бұрын
You make a good point Michael. Some of the methods of model building are just regular woodworking processes shrunk down in scale and I hope that folks will benefit from some of that knowledge. Thanks for tuning in this week.

I anticipate some parts of this model to be very a repetitive process and looking forward to seeing it all with "great anticipation". You are a master.
@acutabove_woodworkings2 жыл бұрын
Some part are very repetitive Dwight and it is what I call "Production work". It is some of the most dangerous work in woodworking because it invites complacency and allows the mind to wander while you are performing the repetitive procedures. I touch on this during the build and stress the importance of taking breaks to be able to keep your full attention on what you are doing. Thanks for tuning in this week and for the kind words.

Hi ! What a great project ! I really enjoy the patience that you show in explaining the steps in the build. "Toys and Joys" should have a link to your channel in their construction instructions. Your videos seem to always have some thing(s) that make the ol' light bulb come on. I love it ! Thank you for your time doing all this work for us !

When to watch it wouldn't be an issue if the guy posting it didn't mess up and forget to change the posting time to 10am. I was a little confused this morning when I saw that it was already live. I guess I need to go through all the parts now and make sure that they are all set for the right time. LOL. Thanks for tuning in.

Kenny, this video was very exciting in the anticipation of each step. I thought it was great, great, great, great stuff. The video says it was 25 minutes long, but I was so engrossed I'm sure that 25 minutes went by in 5 minutes. By the way, did I tell you it was great? You without a doubt are my favorite on KZbin and I can hardly wait until next weeks show. Thank you so very much!

Thanks for the kind words on the show Sam. I hope you continue to enjoy the series. You won't have to wait until next Friday for part 2. I don't like to keep the audience waiting on these build series because if they are following along, they may wish to see the next steps earlier so I post the next part on Tuesday. So until the series is over, the Alternative Tuesday episode of the show will become a woodworking segment as well. Thanks for tuning in to the show and for all the kind words. I truly appreciate it. (p.s. I hope you got my response to your email)

Just got my plans. Shame that I am going on vacation, I want to stay home now...lol. I was not one of the ones that requested this but would have. It is perfect. I always wanted to make scale models. I didn't realize how much I had to change my approch on working on small parts.
