They are low in my opinion but I messed with the EQ and got it how I wanted now they my favorite headphones. The anc is on point and they won't come out your ear at all. Snug fit.

They sound great! Honestly I’m a bit surprised at the quality. Perfect for when I am on the subway or at the gym. Plus they will not fall out of my ear. And that’s something I always have a problem with with AirPods.
