Well the amp is rated for 2ohm load and its actully 50 watts x2 not 80, i tried it with 30v 5A and its better but it gets really hot because of high voltage and at 2ohm i got up to 46 watts close enough for me.

Not even that .. in true power in 4 ohms, it has maximum power up to 38 watts in 24 volts, I already make measurements with a frequency of 100 hz up to 1000 hz, if it reaches 50 watts, it is that it is at peak, but it is ideal to make your homemade boombox, since the sound is a beast.

impossible, since that power reaches 22 volts if it reaches 80 watts, but in 24 volts it reaches 38 watts RMS maximum, it cannot give more .. but that power is powerful to make your boomboxes.

Can you please tell me how many voltages is suitable for this. I bought the treble, mid bass version recently. Love it. Drives my bookshelf speakers just find. I have hidden it under my desk. I placed a 4700uF 25v capacitor to remove any ripples in the power supply. I am using a 12v 5A brick. I am not sure if using a 19v power supply is wise. Also need to know if a 10A supply and a larger capacitor will improve audio quality further ?

I am running mine on 24V 5A to 6 Ohm speakers with no problems. Same model as yours with the treble-mid-bass controls (XH-M577). The heatsink gets only mildly warm to the touch. No point in increasing amperage; under heavy load I doubt that it's using any more than about 2.5A, but power output to the speakers does increase drastically with voltage increase. Check the data sheet for the TPA3116D2 and look at page 10 where power output vs. voltage is graphed. Maximum voltage according to the data sheet is 26V.

Output power scales very highly with voltage; at 12V with 8 Ohm speakers the chip outputs about 7.5W, at 24V and 8 Ohm it's about 33W. More power can be had with lower-impedance speakers.
