Colombia: The answer is not to the point but she tried her best Panama: it was a decent answer, very genuine one. Canada: Good one but not wow México: Great answer but short Gibraltar: Good answer but didn't answer or concluded. South Africa: Great answer! France: Not to the point, her point was good but didn't put it across in a correct way So if I'm a judge 2nd runner up: Gibraltar 1st runner up: México Winner: South Africa Honestly I would have been happy if Mexico won

Sorry but Miss Colombia and Miss France had the shakiest answers. They could’ve used interpreters. Miss Gibraltar’s answer was exactly what the judges were looking for (African wildlife and hospitality) in a question about introducing Johannesburg to her family. Other than that, Miss Mexico and Miss South Africa had great answers.

si de verdad, recuerda que en ese entonces Gibraltar en ese entonces estaba bajo el tapete la soberanía de España sobre ese peñón y el ganar esa preciada corona fue como sacarle la lengua a España y admitir que Gibraltar es un estado no dependiente de la corona Hispana sino de la británica

Mexico was the most beautiful of the top 7 and South Africa delivered the best answer, so I would´ve crowned Mexico. No hate towards Gibraltar but neither was she an outstanding beauty nor did she delivered a good answer, so she probably won due to politics. Special mention to Panama, she was gorgeous too and gave a very good and cute answer, she deserved to place higher.
