+SupermarketSweep777 It's the one game in the rotation that has NEVER been fully won even once since it debuted back in January 1983, and probably never will be due to the extremely remote odds. There have been some close calls over the years with fairly large sums won but never the full amount either under the original rules of $5000 a piece for $25,000, or the current format from late 1998 onward with $10,000 per chip for $50,000. Let's face it, this is a game of absolute random chance through and through.

+SupermarketSweep777 Yes it's almost a one in a million long shot, and i believe in the game's entire history the closest that there has ever been to a full win was back in late 1990. The contestant playing dropped three chips in the center and one in the $1000 space for a total of about $21k+ in cash under the original $5000 per chip setup. Nobody else since then that i am aware of has come that close to winning the game. Just goes to prove the futility inherent in it's random luck based gameplay. With that said, i am not getting my hopes up of realistically ever seeing a full win on Plinko.

+SupermarketSweep777 It's also a game where there is almost no sure fire way to win, due to the aforementioned random luck aspect. Even with the best case scenario of winning all five chips and going center space on the board for all of them you have an equal chance of landing on the $0 spaces as hitting the $10,000, it is just not in the contestant's favor as far as the odds go of hitting the big money. Simply put, it is theoretically almost impossible to win the game fully.
