just an observation sir, doing an exhaustive research on your guest would really make your podcast better and interesting. Sayang ang bibigat pa naman ng mga naiinterview, but still the episode is entertaining.

That’s ok bro. I have known enough about Lourd to start a conversation. I don’t need to have “exhaustive research”, kasi para ano pa na kakausapin ko sya at tatanungin kung alam ko na sagot? Ang boring non for me at pati sa guest. Dating nun naglolokohan lang kami. Other hosts are like that, but that’s not my style. Anything goes ang show. Impromptu, so we only react mainly on each other’s questions, answers and gestures. So may risk talaga na hindi magtugma minsan. I’m very grateful to Lourd and think the episode may not have been the best, pero entertaining pa din like you said. But since, may mga nagcocomment pala, let me explain a bit to answer you guys. Looking back, I remember getting distracted dun sa papel na may nakasulat na “EASY”. Kala ko sinasabihan nya ako or may sinasabihan sya sa comments. Later on I got it na pantakip nya sa yosi at malamang hindi nya narealise na may nakasulat na easy nga pala dun. So medyo nadidistract ako dun, at tsaka pag tumatalikod sya. Hindi ko agad nakuha kung bakit. Haha. It took me the entire show to figure that out, since divided ang attention ko with operating the podcast, asking, thinking of questions, answering, listening, etc and getting distracted. I was starting to get my grove on mga 1/2 hours in, kaso Lourd had to quit streaming already by that time. Sayang. But that’s ok. No hard feelings to Lourd or anyone commenting. It is what it is. But yeah, salamat sa mga feedback! I’m aware the episode could have been much better. Next time we do this again, bawiin namin to. ☕️

Lourd was referring to EC (Entertaining Comics). Ang focus o highlight ng comic book publisher ay twist endings. Maganda ‘tong part ng podcast especially on why he’d prefer EC comics over The Sandman series if you stick him in a desert island. Jerald, baka gusto mo i-consider 'yung bit na 'yan as one of your short clips. I think people will find it interesting. Salamat!

Listening to this... Read the comments about the quality of the interview and it's okay lang, tama naman approach mo kay Lourd.... Yung mga ganitong setup kasi, give and take yun between host and guest e. Sometimes one-way siya, sometimes maganda ang usapan at chemistry. This is still good content. :) new subscriber, will be waiting for more sir!

Hey Sir Komiksman, this is one of my favorite episodes. Actually, I heard that in your podcast with Nico David, you mentioned that you aren't gaining a lot of viewers. I think it is because you don't have a focused niche. Since you love comics, I think you should start a podcast about making comics. Be more focused, you cannot be anyone to everyone. That's my constructive criticism. When you finally gain viewers, you will slowly become the Niche, just like Joe Rogan. But anyway, just keep on creating these episodes it is worth watching and listening. Don't let anyone pull you down. Just my opinions.

This shows how veteran of a journalist and how curious and well versed Lourd is. He kind of asked more interesting questions than you sir. I think he did ask more questions than you! My apologies for that. It's just fascinating to see in your podcast na pati background mo na laruan at books ay interesado siya.

Thanks for the comment, man! Yes, Lourd is an absolute veteran and legend. He has decades on me in terms of media experience. I only have 2 years and there was a starstruck factor in me that time as well. As a host, it is a pleasure to see na curious at interesado sa mga ginagawa mo yung guest. Specially if they’re someone as awesome as Lourd. The podcast is meant to be a fun hang out and let the conversation flow organically. Not formal at all. So that the real personality of my guests come out. I want them to be comfortable as soon as possible. If he’s having fun looking at things and steers the convo in different directions, then that’s fine by me. That only tells me he’s relaxed. Also, my goal is always to make my guests shine, not myself. I do not compete for dominance in the convo, the more magsasalita yung guest, the more quality content I get. Yes, every episode can always be better. But I’m happy about my episode with Lourd. We were just starting to get really warmed up towards the end, kaso it was almost 2am na nun so we had to cut it short. Next time I have him on, we’ll top this one for sure.

"sige pa magkwento ka". pwede pa sanang i-expound yung mga ganung topic kung may follow-up opinion ka o question man lang na related sa pinagsasabi nya. nanghihinayang lang ako kasi Lourd De Veyra iniinterview mo ang dami pa sanang matutunan ng mga viewers. ito ay suggestion lang naman tol hindi ko balak impluwensiyahan ang direksyon o ang purpose ng mga content mo. hehehe. manonod pa rin ako ng mga content mo (in fact, panonoorin ko mamaya yung interview mo kay xiao chua).
