i think that antenna has to be programmed and encoded to the car also.,

My only question is I do have that but my problem is I don't have BMW wheels on my car I have an aftermarket wheel that has its own TPMS but it's not linked up to the BMW version

The antenna is for the 2009 and up. I think on the 2006 to 2008 its some where in the rear of the car.
