Toy Story Land is a welcomed addition (any NEW ride at Disney Hollywood Studios is a welcome addition) however for the amount of money spent on this land we could have gotten a major E-Ticket, plus a couple of “Fantasyland style” dark rides... which Hollywood Studios desperately needs. $250 million for one coaster (with minimal theming) and a flat ride is mind blowing.

Yeah, I suggest if you wanna ride it either try and get there an hour before the park opens or if you can afford it, stay on property to get the magic hours and still get there a solid hour before the magic hour begin. I did that yesterday and only waited like 2 hours for the ride.

The wait times have gone down considerably since opening day. Today I noticed the wait time for this ride was down to 85 minutes.

Will I go on it... yes, lol. My mom and I both; I showed her the video and she's all for this ride (we're not into extreme rides so this is more our speed). Now we just need to get to Disney World one day, lol. JudexRigby42 this isn't even close to a thrill ride. Honestly I never thought Intamin (the company who made it. I can tell from the track design) would make a ride like this. Everything they've ever made was at least 60 miles per hour or faster and they've made literally the most intense roller coasters on the planet. This probably the first true family Intamin coaster ever made.

For us it's a thrill, I had vertigo once and that still affects me a bit and I have motion sickness and because I have to be careful this one looks perfect. But I suppose Intamin wanted to give it a shot if they've never made a ride like this before, branch out and have more options for their business in the future.

JudexRigby42 turns out it was actually a Mack rides coaster. Their track style is pretty much identical to intamins. They've been on the rise recently.

I’ve been to Disney 3 times (2 that I remember) but this one is my first time that I’m really gonna try new rides! I was ALWAYS scared of rollar coasters and still am scared of a lot. To my family, this was by far the worst ride in all of Disney World. It just doesn't live up to other rides. The ride itself isn't the problem, so much. It could be better. But the real problem is the queue line. It sucks. It sucks big time. The magic of Disney is that the queue lines, which lets face it, is where you spend most of your time at Disney, are usually almost a ride themselves, with great theming, visuals, and usually quite of bit of it being indoors in A/C which is extremely nice in the hot months. The Slinky Dog queue is absolutely terrible. It's all outdoors with not enough fans and almost no theming. It doesn't feel like Disney. It feels like an aging run down Worlds of Fun or Six Flags park ride. Queue times were as high as 90 minutes in this dreadful line. Why are we doing this to the children? It needs a huge revamp, or just gut it and replace with something else entirely.

I'm not excited for any of this, at all, personally. I've never been the biggest Toy Story fan. It's good, yes, but it's not my favorite. And then it got blown way out of proportion on Disney fanpages when Toy Story Land was announced, to the point I'm not at all a fan anymore. People treat Toy Story like the Pixar bible and honestly, while I do still think it's good, it's not near my favorite. Seeing the ride... I'm a little disappointed, actually, considering how hyped the entire land was, and just... for that. It's lackluster at best, IMO. (please don't kill me)

I'm truly surprised they allow cameras on the rides. At Six Flags, they won't even let you bring in a camera anymore. If you're caught filming on a ride, you get banned. They claim that it's a "safety precaution."

I went to The Toy Story Land Opening. Got to the ride when the land opened “285 Minute Wait”. We left to go to Animal Kingdom xD

In my opinion the back seats are the best, because when your in the front you have to wait for the back side to get up a hill, or a chain lift, etc, and by the time you actually pick up some speed your half way down the hill. An example is 2:30 , you can see the coaster slow down on that hill so that back can catch up. Front Seats for the views/track, Back Seats for the speed/experience.
