I know Stitches Great Escape was a more family-friendly version of the show, but honestly it still terrified me as a child. The jokes didn’t really land in the mind of a young boy. Fascinating thing, the two failed overlays, when combined, actually produced a fairly good one, to my knowledge. Tiki Room + Stitch seemed to have been received quite well, and if I had to venture some guesses why, here's my opinion: Unlike Under New Management or Great Escape, Tiki Room featuring Stitch understood both of its original sources. Great Escape did see Stitch's more crude and mischievous aspects, but completely forgot about Stitch's more redeemable aspects. Under New Management completely stomped on the original parts of the Tiki room. Not much else I need to say. Tiki Room featuring Stitch, while it does still have Stitch messing around, it still retains its Hawaiian roots, and Stitch mellows out closer to the end.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom should’ve opened with more ride experiences, more cool animal encounters, and more dark rides than just one!
@shepwillner75073 жыл бұрын
By "more cool animal encounters", which animals would you consider to be appropriate for families to see? They already have a petting zoo for little kids to visit and feed the animals as well as a falconry show. Suggestions: a show that had audiences getting a view about how zookeepers train an adult elephant or baby giraffe to eat food from his or her hands; a lion, leopard, or tiger cub undergoing a vet visit; or a comedy that resembled the GEICO camel commercial. Remember, the whole point of AK was to present wild animals in a relatively safe non-zoo environment complete with an African safari ride and a train ride to see Rafiki's vet hospital. Moreover, I keep trying to remember that AK's message to visitors that it is NOT a zoo, which is why it prohibits visitors from buying beverages with plastic lids and sipping them with paper straws to protect the animals. No other park in WDW has those drink sale and serving restrictions.

I'm from California but I've actually never ridden the Incredicoaster. Hopefully once the park opens I can go ride it now that I'm 17 and can handle thrill better.

Well, I did and it was hilarious in my five year old mind. I'm pretty sure S.I.R. is what gave me my evil male robot kink. A lot of people I know are the same.

Here’s hoping Disney has good plans to replace Stitch. The problem I see them running into is that the ride system only really works with a horror/thriller backdrop. You feel something breathing down your neck and crawling on your back in the dark. Otherwise it’s just a comedy show where the comedian constantly spits in your face and jumps on your chair. One is a much better experience than the other no matter how you slice it.

I always watch this guy leading up to going to Disney listening to talk about all the new rides and ride changes, it honestly gets me more and more excited for everything. He says you need to have a pre show to have a great experience, however I think I have a better experience with him so I thank you for that.

I have a lot of personal history with some of these rides in 2007, when I first went to WDW as an adult, I had never experienced the Enchanted Tiki Room and thought the "Under New Management" thing was very funny I have since experienced the original version and certainly understand why people were pissed at the UNM changes, but I was kinda sad to see Iago and Zazu go away as for the Incredicoaster.... The only time I made it to California ans in 2018, 1 month before the refurb was completed! I was so dissapointed to not be able to ride either version of the coaster... That's the problem with these revamps, the downtime it generates... As a person from Montreal, I can't make it to California all that often :( I am left to wonder when I will be able to go back ...

My first real trip to Disney (where I was old enough to remember it) was in the late 90's, and I was maybe 8 or 9. I LOVED the Enchanted Tiki Room with Iago and Zazu. But now as a 30 year old with a little more logic and better taste, I clearly see the error of my ways

I don't care what anyone says. California Screamin' was better than Incredicoaster, hands down.

I wanna see Disney Parks to include a seasonal Christmas overlay to The Enchanted Tiki Room for Magic Kingdom and Disneyland in California called “The Enchanted Tiki Room Presents Mele Kalikimaka: A Tropical Christmas Serenade”!
@ritaandrunt57673 жыл бұрын
Yes I want that to happen so badly the plot would probably be centered on the tikis and the brids celebrating Christmas with each other and getting and receiving gifts from each other

My favorite Disney Ride overlay would be “Incredicoaster” at Disney’s California Adventure cause I grew up watching “The Incredibles” when I was a kid and I got to see the sequel in theaters on June 19th, 2018 right before my birthday at the end of the month
