Thats my favorite announcement as well. I am excited to hear that it will pay respects to World Of Motion. I hope they bring in the rides theme song Its fun to be Free. I gotta wonder though are they going to keep the name Test Track or a new name?

⁠@@CameronJPOffhand Disney discussed that in his latest video (if you know who that is) and he basically was wondering the same thing as you, “Will Fun To Be Free be part of the ride?” I wish I could’ve seen World Of Motion in person at Epcot, but I just wasn’t born yet. Test Track is a fun ride tho and I can’t wait to see what they’ll do with it too!

Personally, I like the Test Track idea. Not only did multiple effects malfunction the last time I rode it, but the regenerative-style braking after the power section has gotten quite jerky.

I'm actually glad that Test Track is getting some major TLC. I went on the original version when it first opened to the public back in 1999 and really enjoyed it. I would ride it again in 2015, 2022, and 2023 and it really has become a shell of it's former self. The only fun part of the current version is the whole idea that you get to design your own car. From the concept art that was shown in the video, it looks like some inspiration was taken from the original version of Test Track as well.

I am still waiting for that amazing Beauty and the Beast ride from Tokyo Disney to come to the US. It looks amazing. That being said, I would love to see the retheme of Encanto and Indiana Jones together. Hoping they use the Dinosaur track to do Indiana Jones. I love the series and have not been on the ride yet.

I can see why you would say that Journey of Water looks like something to be in Animal Kingdom but to me Journey of Water, where you have interactive elements and educational facts on water conservation does feel like a classic Epcot thing

Also, YES YES YES if they have to shove those IPs over Dinoland, then I demand we get a new live animal walking trail or two to feature animals from those areas. I was at Destination D23 and the reaction to the Dinoland replacement was very positive. Everybody in the room was very excited. Everybody was talking about it after the panel, and everybody seemed really excited for it. I definitely prefer this over the first concept they pitched last year. My guess is that they will have it up around 2027.

I agree, all around reception of this concept is very positive. I think your 2027 date is accurate for the Encanto section and ride but then I suspect they won’t re-theme dinosaur until the other ride is built. I don’t think that park can afford to lose Dinosaurs capacity if there’s nothing there to replace it. We’ll see what happens though!

I might actually check out the new Country Bear Jamboree next time I go to WDW If it's open by then! I'm always a fan of attractions revolved around Disney songs (like The Frozen Sing Along, Mickey's Philharmagic and Festival of the Lion King)! I'm also glad Tough to be a Bug is permanently closing! It traumatized me when I was a kid! That was the only time I saw it!

Honestly of the IPs to put in animal kingdom... I'd be Okay with it being Encanto? People thought the Treehouse was being themed to be Antonio's treehouse, why not just give him a dark ride and have him educate on the animals of south america? He can speak to animals afterall.

I can't say there's one particular new addition that I am most excited for because we don't have much information about any of them. I do wish though that they announced a new nighttime show for Animal Kingdom. I hate how that's the only park at the resort without any evening entertainment.

I’m kind of bummed that it’s tough to be a bug is getting removed! I personally really liked it but I do see why others didn’t, especially small children. I dont understand why they have to get rid of the really good rides like Dinosaurs for an update, why not remove parts but keep the ride in the new section? I understand they try to excuse their choices of removal by "this is what walt would have wanted" but thats getting old because he also wanted education in what he built, sustainability, and enjoyment for all not just commercialism. My older son loved the dino ride (as did i). He doesnt like crazy thrill rides like Guardians but doesnt care for the boring 8 year old rides either. Dinoland was a little boring but dinosaurs was perfect, dont throw it all out the window.

I hated it's tough to be a bug. It's a great show for sure, but I have sensory issues and don't handle 4D theater well. I wish there had been warnings for that kind of thing when I saw it and when we spoke to a cast member after they had no idea what "4D" meant so if someone even asked the cast they still wouldn't know since Disney doesn't refer to it the way other productions do
