I'll be happy to be the first to comment. I am a huge Pilot - Namiki fan but have recently (Last 9 months) purchased a number of Sailor pens and have become a big fan. The feedback from the typical Pilot nib is so much different than the Sailor nib, but I have to say that I like them both. The Pilot is smoother but the little feedback from the Sailor is also a nice feeling. I've ordered this pen as I wanted the first version with the screw on cap to barrel when posting and I love the Taupe color (not the one being shown on the review). I thought your review was excellent and only further convinced me to purse the Sailor Pro Gear Slim Mini.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I only have one Pilot (a Custom 74) which I unfortunately dropped, so I can't quite remember how it writes... I'm waiting for the right time to get it fixed.
