I got the v1 yesterday because I didn’t want to pay $30 more for the white version, I’m liking the all black set up but I wish they sold just the blacked out faceplate cause the one that came with v1 has grey lettering

I love my tpob play clipper that and my freshfades are my absolute favorites but ima pass on the play trimmer cuz it’s just a madeshow m6 and I have the m6 and it comes with a higher rpm. I find 7000 rpm not really that good enough for how I like to fade and what not. Still love the brand tho can’t wait for the goblin 2

How's the pencil blade compared to stylecraft precision blade? and does Andis blade or other brand fit the play trimmer?

They don’t compare. Just size wise. The play trimmer is better in hand. But the blade is a soft sharp blade. The precision blade is way sharper and more efficient.

@Javonthebarber By soft sharp I guess you mean it doesn't scratch much? And cuts closer to the skin like almost a shaver? Kinda like philips oneblade? Vs precision which is more for coarse bulk removing, scratchy and tougher on skin but overall more powerful? I got play on the way, but I was thinking if I should buy the precision blade as well

@ it doesn’t cut close to the skin as I would like the precision does! I would say get the both!. The play trimmer is for under the neck and the back of the neck. You can line up with them. But even when zero gapped on certain textures it will struggle meaning you have to hit it again and again and again. The precision blade is great for lineups

The trimmer is great I put the krazy blade on the trimmer it’s hits way better and softer as well even when zero gapped. Elite clipper mods makes an adapter to fit the blade! I’ve used it for 2 days straight on a lot of different texture!

The pencil blade isn’t bad at all ether just not my preference. It’s great for under the neck and the back of the neck and some designs depending on texture
