Hi Mike, I am interested in how you set up those redirection links. In the past, all my g-drive products were via the permissions for TPT to have access. However, I have changed my approach to inputting the forced copy link in the pdf. This is easier, especially if you combine both printable and Google apps versions in one product. In posting the product, I also tagged it as Google Apps, and the TPT algorithm picked up on that and then wanted me to: Upgrade to Online Resource. Those shows up at the top of the Product Listings page under 'Other Actions'. Interesting, Thanks for all you do for your community, AND... Congratulations on 1000 subscribers!

Hey Learn With Puzzles! Thanks for letting me know you’d be interested in a video about redirection links. There are definitely pros and cons with them. I’ve put it on my list of topics to film. I agree with you about forced copy links being easier if you combine printables and editable files in the same resource. Otherwise it’s a pain lol I don’t know that the TPT SEO algorithm is involved when the TPT product listing backend “gives” you an opportunity to upgrade to online resource. (I think of it as a nag message to do an optional upgrade.) I suppose TPT could give an SEO signal boost based on product type, but I can’t see that being a significant boost. 1K is exciting! I'm sort of overwhelmed--I understand most of this but until I actually go through the steps, it's kind of vague to me LOL. One thing I haven't seem much of in my week of binge watching TPT videos, is how to actually post/share the product. Most videos just say "And then you click upload product...."Do I create a Google Drive for the products? Am I uploading a PDF from my computer to their ....cloud? How does that part of it actually work? Do you have a video on that? Hope to get this started during March Break!

Hi Mike, This was a great tutorial! It helped me gain the confidence to try Google Slides again in my TPT store. I am just wondering if there is a way to stop the buyer from requesting editing rights to the file after they have downloaded the forced copy? I tried a polite return email to say that they should be able to download the forced copy and that the text boxes are already included for editing. 🤞

I did one of your lessons with my kids! They loved it... it was one of your free resources about fake news and the 5 Ws. I wonder, why have that many free resources? I think I also asked you about Enrica, she has a lot of free resources as well.

Ooh, that’s a good one - I started that product line and then sort of gave up on it, even though I did get some sales right away. Hmm. (Also, thanks for letting me know it worked well for you. This was in an online format for 4th grade students? Can you leave a review on TPT because that will help other teachers decide if this product is a good fit for their classrooms?) I don’t really think about the number or proportion of free to paid resources in my store. My goal is to provide so much good stuff that teachers wonder, if his free stuff is this good, I wonder how good his paid stuff is. Plus, Alex Hormozi in one of his books talks about the importance of high quality free resources. Also, if people leave great reviews on the freebies, it adds social proof in the front page for your overall TPT store rating. I wonder if people are more likely to leave a better review on a freebie. (Not always, but maybe more than with the paid resources?) The free resources also upsell into paid bundles. Oh! When you say you have 5 Google Drives...they're all separate accounts, right? How do I know which account is which...I have...4? Google Accounts not including my work one. Is it the order they show when I click "Show More Accounts" under my picture? Sometimes I love Google, sometimes I hate it LOL

I have lots of questions today lol. So if I make changes to a google document that I have a link for, will the person who orders my google slides get the change too (if they haven’t made a copy yet). For example, if I notice a mistake on my google file (my kids notice them haha) and I go into the original file and change it, will the link change and I have to reshare a new link?

Hey Carrie, great question. If you share a link to a google file and then edit the original, everyone else who accessed the file after you make the changes will see the updated version.
