Its absolutely one of my top favourite shows I would not miss listening regularly!👏👍 The most sorrowful and exciting episode was when son learnt about his innocent mum being locked up in jail. Thus he honestly put up his best effort to testify and safe his mum infront of justices!❤ Sister Chor Hui and sister Kar Gek were the most outstanding actor and actress that no one else could ever replace them!⭐️👍👏 Thank you!🙏

This is so ancient!! Nostalgic to hear some of the old performers. I can recognise Teoh Eng Yan; the lausheng with the slight falsetto voice, which was an uncomfortable strange idea then, but his style caught on with the audience. THANKs for uploading...[This is one of the many old Teochew opera recordings/productions under the 'Tan-Nan-Ah' (Dong Nan Ya - SouthEast Asia) label which was very active in this field in the 1960's. The music is engineered to come from the centre of the soundfield, and different performers' voice are segregated to the left and right. It was the recording fashion during the 1960's.]
