Vivekanand Mukhopadhyay used to right article in Jugantar , middle class bengalis are weak in memory. Moreover, we used to adopt others. eg. Enjoy in Christmas, Deepavali, Chatpuja, Dhanteras, Karvachaut, Ravandahan, Gujrati kathinach in Durgapuja etc. As I am from other state ,Bengalis not knows some festival names. Participating more in these than Durgapuja, Kalipuja. Only takes photos in mobile phones of Maa Durga without a Pranam, a large portion goes on tour during Durgapuja a long weekend. Observing Sangeet, ghagra wearing in marriage, phuckha stall etc. To marry a Muslim boy or vice versa isn't a question. Gladly accepted. Iftaar given to Muslims. Rohingya s are given unauthorized land , labour sardar takes them to other states or Arab for income keeping their families here. Their female young women are taken for political meetings etc. and several Shahjahan is their to loot their modesty ,sending to hotels at night etc. None dares to protest except one Rekha Patra. Situation is grim. Qualified students from upper class family are out of state or country and their agricultural lands are occupied unlawfully.
