Well it comes with a white wibbly wobbly so it's gotta be good, Craig! Rob has an Absima kit buggy and it's amazing for the money. I think you went a bit far with that fruity tyre sniff mate, you must be an addict like me!!!! The spec looks great so I reckon you did the right thing getting this one. Looking forward to the build and of course the run! :D

Cool, Team C had some good cars back in the days And for people in this comment section, Absima did not make this car, they only distributed it (at least in Europe)

Cheers Keith. It was a great find and one I didn’t know much about it before. A little research showed me this could be a very capable buggy and it was the closest I could get to a Zahhak. Should be interesting to see how this competes with the DT03. Thanks for watching pal

Hey Jeremy, this is a brilliantly spec’d buggy for the price and they were going so cheap a few years back! I can’t wait to get it built and turning laps on the OR 🙌🏻

Yeah, man, you did the right thing! Looks like great value, this kit, and it actually looks really cool! I already started looking it up before you told the story behind it, of course I could find some but they were sold out, of course... Well, I can't get me one, but at least I can watch yours on video, that's the next best thing, right? Nice find, congratulations with it!

Great video 👍🏻 I have a couple of these and definitely a good buggy. They are the same chassis as the ansmann mad rat which was raced back in the day. Really nicely made plastics and parts. They did a stadium truck based on the same chassis called the hyde. They are so worth the money. 😁👍🏻

Hey Mark, thanks for the comment and this is great to hear. I was impressed by the spec of this buggy and I think it will go well out on my Orchard Raceway in the time trials next year! I saw it as a poor man’s Zahhak which I have been unable to find

I am looking forward to watching you build it and race around the orchard raceway as it will go well. My pal knows a lot more about these buggy than I do but they did loads of them and people haven't clocked onto them yet so prices are really low. 😊 you definitely got a bargain. If you are going to put some decent power through the gearbox you will have to change to idle gear in the gearbox as they strip for fun. The last new in box kit bought had a upgrade gear in it. Thanks Mark! I will keep that in mind on the gear box if I start running some higher power through it! I tend to start on silver cans as the OR is pretty tight!! Good to know I made a sensible purchase 😁

Not a problem at all. If I can help in anyway I certainly try my best. Definitely look into getting a ansmann mad or mad monkey. If you need spares then they are easy enough to find. Enjoy it sir. 😊👍🏻

Nice and interesting buggy. Looks a lot like Kyosho RB5 (Dirt Master) and Associated B4 for example. Will be a blast on your track ✌🤝

Great comparison Gabriel. I think it sits along with them on the timeline if I am right? I am keen to see if this keeps up with the DT03 on the track 🤔

Can't say I've ever heard of this one buddy. Cab forward is a red flag for me straight away I'm afraid...... but then you mention lavender and liquorice flavour tires..... hmmm, its starting to get more appealing now! 😂 Be interesting to see how she runs, thanks for sharing buddy. 😊 👍 👍 👍

Hey there James 🙌🏻 I see what you mean about the cab but to be honest it is more about performance and I think this kit is one heck of a set up for the price. It will have a limit though as I expect parts to be harder to come by. But until then I am going to drive it each year on the OR and we’ll see if it keeps up with the modern Tamiya 2WD buggies

Hey Jess, it seems like a quality kit but I got the impression that they didn’t sell too well back in the day. Would love to see them have other bash at this quality of kit in the current market to see if it sells well again
