I gifted my daughter and her Beau one month of Hello Fresh, for a Xmas gift, 2 years ago. My daughter can cook, but she's an ER nurse so long 12 hour shifts, and not off by dinner time. So it taught him to cook for sure! And you keep the recipe cards and eventually you get familiar with ingredients!

Lydia, my nephew, by marriage & heart, came here for school, and once school was over, he has been applying to become a legal citizen. And you are right, it takes a long time, years. My niece and him wanted to get married. They had to wait a couple years and it also cost a lot of money. My niece had to prove that she could financially support both of them. He did had to sign a document stating he would never receive any type of government/state financial assistance, Medicaid, food stamps etc. After completing his undergrad, school, his company sponsored him and that was how he had a work permit. He paid for his college and has a great career. He was already financially independent. They did finally get the approval to get married. He's still waiting for the final approval of citizenship. He is a fantastic provider and we love him completely. He is seeking citizenship legally.

You apply, and after living here a few years and jumping thru the hoops, you become a citizen. This is why it is so unfair that he does it the right way, which is very difficult, and the illegals just walk right in, and get all the free benefits. So unfair.

I have found with our busy schedules that we use our crockpot a lot. It’s so easy and you can even do most of the prep the night before, peeling potatoes and carrots and cutting it all up, then in the morning basically set it and forget about it for several hours. I’ve even done ribs in the crockpot recently and they were amazing!! I’m not the best cook plus I have 3 children that are always going in different directions so on super busy nights my crockpot is our go to. Lydia will start to learn more quick and easy recipes and will be doing more cooking in no time, if she wants lol. I have some friends that leave all the cooking up to their spouse and that’s perfectly fine as well. It’s really what works best for you all. 💜

My mom has lived in the states since 1976 and got permanent residency. She finally got her citizenship in 2019 and that was a 2 year process. (She tried many times before but lots of things kept getting in the way). Add in the asylum situation and I can’t imagine!

Off topic but, with the minimalist design which can have an echo, sit down videos may benefit from you guys wearing microphones. The Rode mic / dead cat works fine for typical camera-in-hand vlogging but the distance from it when sitting picks up the echo. Rode makes a small clip on mic a lot of vloggers wear out in public. It really helps to pick up just the speaker. My apologies for the unsolicited advice. 😂 ♥️

Once your child is born, all the assumptions will seem very trivial. Don't take to heart. You both seem very level headed + seem to be working as a team + thats what matters. I had my second daughter at 34 weeks she was 5lbs9ozs and 18 ¼ in. I loved having my little baby. She was 1 pound bigger than her older sister but her older sister wasn't as healthy at birth even though she was born at 38 weeks. But 2 weeks later she was fine and I loved having the smaller babies because they stayed smaller longer. My third daughter was 7'2oz. she was very big compared to the first 2.

I think every first mom has tendency to be more unsure and protective. You definitely are different with your first then your last. Whatever that looks like all moms can say that. That is in no way ever a bad thing. Lydia never compare your parenting to other moms, just as we never compare our children to other kids. Always follow your instincts you will NEVER go wrong. I recently got married and to make easier, quicker meals, I got a dutch oven and love it. We love just meat and potatoes or simple pulled pork/chicken sandwiches, or pre-packaged salad mixes with some grilled meat. Also a slow cooker can make life so much easier!

Don't drink alcohol either and I wasn't home schooled or any type of raised like y'all, sadly. But I'm good without alcohol. I'm a dog person but cats are easier, agreed Lydia. This is a real thing for lots of families, me included, sadly it's ALL about my DIL's family. 💔🙏. I don't have any say... so the only think I can do is pray. maybe someday, it will change. I will say they don't like to be around us bc I'm a believer. Her family is NOT in any way shape or form. For those that are gonna comment... I don't day or judge anything they do. All I do is pray. ❤ Mama B! I know you'll be guided. But Allow you child to gain independence as early as age appropriately as possible. Always keep open communication. It sounds normal for Trace tbh. Trace making final decision is Biblical. Talking about it first is perfect. It takes a village to raise a child. But what good is an obedient child WITHOUT a ❤ change🤔🤷‍♀️? I was gonna recommend Hello Fresh. It's the best one I've tried. It allows you to cook while not being overwhelmed.
