Vuca simulations does all of this to their maps. Their quality is unmatched. Absolutely love the art style for the Traces series of games.

Yes, it's great. I don't notice it so much on mounted maps, but when they do it to unmounted maps, they just feel so deluxe.

@@PushingCardboard Traces of War and Red Strike use the same high quality maps. I love them it makes pushing around cardboard so much more immersive, like you are really a general looking over real maps from the time period. I wish all games used the Traces of War art style. I am really looking forward to Traces of Hubris too. I am so jealous!

I've not seen the previous version so I can't comment. Though I'd wager that even if the rules are unchanged, the components here are an upgrade.
