Thanks for the video. Just bought this flip phone for my mom from HSN for $40 with 1200 minutes/1200 texts /1.2GB data This Flip 2 will be used for 2FA. The texting brings back memories of my Nokia phone from the early 1990s. Entering the wifi password was challenging. Installed a software update for it.

Thank you . If phone is closed and someone calls you once u open the phone you will be able to talk to the person without pressing anything and once u close it the phone call ends. Hope that answered your question.

Can anyone help with adding/saving contacts? My dad just bought this phone and is having trouble saving his contacts. He can fill in all the information, but cannot save them. He had the older version of this phone and figured it out on his own, on that one. Unfortunately, he is on the other side of the country from me and I cannot get my hands on his new phone to see what his screen looks like. He says that the manual just says "choose Save" and that is what I have been seeing Googling around as well. But he swears that "Save" is not an option on his screen. I have seen other people complain that adding contacts was confusing but that they figured it out. However, they did not post their solutions.

It does have speaker phone works well I used it few times when I had the phone. You have to select it there is speaker option on screen so press button that corresponds to it . You can also answer phone with that front button on top of phone when it’s closed and that would be automatic speakerphone .

@@njtexit8 its been a while since I've used it but once you in the call it should show on on screen and you have to press one of the corresponding buttons. Also if phone is closed you can talk with it using speakerphone without opening it .

Has anyone else experienced a blank white screen with this phone? I've had mine for about a year now and it's still in quite new condition, never dropped it or got it wet. Yesterday, I texted someone and set it down. Returned 5 minutes later to return another text and when I opened it up, the screen was solid white, with no apparent cause. I took the battery out multiple times, for several minutes, and when I turn it on the screen is still white. Everything else seems to work on it otherwise. I'm a DIY'er and times are tough financially, so I would really like to fix this if I can and not have to pay and wait for a new phone. Can anyone please help? Thanks!

After two months they send you a text message stating that your phone qualifies for unlocking. Sadly, you do have to call them and request they unlock it. But, once they take down your email address after a few minutes they do send you an unlock code with instructions.

tracfone use to be good cellphone CO. but any more they can't do any thing right and wen i ask to speak to a manager i get hung up on. i got hug up on over 5 times befor my wife talked to some one there now mind you i have been with tracfone for over 30 plus years but now it looks like i am going to go to mint where i will not get hug up on wen i ask to speak to some one that could help me. if this is what you are looking for Eduardo Diaz Corona then you are doing a very good job of it and tracfone will be no more in no time

I agree about customer service haha pray you never need to contact them . I had some issue with shipping and they would waste my time for an hour . 0 common sense and when they see they can’t help they just hang up . Service itself I have no issues but right now on my main I use mint actually . I haven’t contacted customer service yet no idea how that will be but have no need to contact them service has been great so far .

i was able to call the number on the sim card i bought and text the number along with the model model number and was set up. so the phone can be set up by itself, nothing else needed. save your box with the model number, you need it.
