Could you use this method like this to reverse a cell hijacking or jailbreak? Because someone managed to remotely turn my device into a paperweight basically and I don’t have money to replace this phone and it’s not even fully paid off yet and my provider won’t do anything to help me. My Samsung J7 Crown gives me that "your phone meets the criteria" stuff, but when I click submit, it just takes me right back to the Unlocking Policy page. I thought maybe it had something to do with my phone so I tried a different phone but same issue. I get no "this will be sent to your email" info. For example, whenever you travel you can switch mobile carriers for a couple of weeks and when you return home pop back in the TracFone sim card and keep using same phone number too?? Mine said eligible for unlock then i put in my info and it just keeps spinning me back to the check if im eligible part. doesnt give me a code or say that anyone on their end is going to unlock it. any idea whats going on in my case? I did do the unlock request with a sim thats already activated from one of those vortex tablets that come with a year of service but I don't see why it would matter. both the tcl a3 i bought and the vortex tablet came from different people too and the tcl is a $40 walmart TracFone and the vortex is who knows what service provider,i bought that strictly to use on wifi. thanks

Maybe if you are unlocking a phone that you never used (because it has no assigned number) you are supposed to root it. Rooting refers to a programming type thing that gives you root access (and now you can do software updates you never though possible) Idk, just saying. I'm trying to root android tablet though
