I want to say a huge, thank you! For this video. It made me emotional actually. Another option for us is great. My daughter has TBM she is now 4. We are trying to raise awareness and support others out there. Can we know more details about this? How long is recovery? How does this support TBM/TM children as they grow? What age can they get this? Is there an article out in regard to Tapering? I would love to read and share this amazing knowledge. Thank you hugely x

Hello - I think you eluded to it, but are children who had a posterior tracheopexy potential candidates for this tapering procedure if significant collapse is still discovered on a DLB scope? Or is it more a factor of the cartilage ring shape itself needing the more “bow/D” shape than tracheal collapse in general? Thank you for these videos - they really do help give us a greater knowledge base than at least I previously held.

Doctor how often do you see complete trachael rings? My son has innominate artery compression and compete trachael rings. He 2 and it's been suggested we do nothing...but I am unsure as I've never seen this in my own OR experience. His trachea at the stenosis fits a 2.5 et tube which concerns me. Thank you for this video!
