The bottom line for me is that no matter what,Traci was a married woman when she died and she had a son. Whatever was decided between her husband and son that was final. Anyone outside of that had nothing to do with it and it is disrespectful for anyone to not honor what her husband and son did. The last thing I will say is, "It would have been a cold day in hell before my mother would have missed my funeral service irregardless what disagreement she may have had with anyone." She would have been more concerned about being with me all the way to the grave and nothing else would have mattered. As a mature woman my mother always said, "When death comes put your differences aside and honor the deceased."

Don’t let anyone tell you to get over it, don’t let anyone tell you when you should stop grieving, don’t let anyone dictate how you grieve nor your future happiness. From my own personal experience I can say that may always feel some type of pain behind your loss however I hope that you will eventually have more good days than bad, more smiles than tears, and someday think of your wife with a smile and a peace within & that you are capable of living out your years with love and respect from your family, friends, and piers . 😢 Awww this is hard for Kevin Sr. to do. He should not have to defend himself against his in-laws.
